She went to the window and found it locked and reinforced. Not even an iron bar would be enough to smash it open.
'So what if they've trapped me?'
Yara Quillan sat back down on the bed. 'Even so, I'm getting out of here. I have important business to attend to. The person who murdered my mother and brother is still out there. I can't be trapped here.'
She refused to believe Owen Morgan could keep her locked up forever. As long as someone came to bring her food, she'd find a way to escape.
After nearly three hours in the room, a sound finally came from outside the door.
"Wildcat, are you awake?" It was Ian Shannon's voice.
Yara Quillan walked to the door and spoke to the person outside. "Ian Zimmerman, open this door."
"Wildcat, I know what happened." Ian Shannon ignored Yara Quillan's demand and instead tried to reason with her. "The boss didn't mean for it to happen back then. And strictly speaking, this whole thing..."
"Ian Shannon, I don't want to hear your bullshit."
