"Yara, let me tell you again, formally. My car accident had nothing to do with you. Not a single thing. Do. You. Understand?"
"Yara, stop bantering with him. Big Brother said he was going to Arkadia to get you, so I came over and made you all something to eat." Yara Quillan's second brother—Silas Lennox—glanced at Lucian Sloan, untied his apron, and walked over to Yara Quillan. Though his expression was still cold, his words revealed a deep, doting affection.
At that moment, Yara Quillan was suddenly struck by a feeling: she was home.
Her three brothers were here. They were all… very good to her. Very good.
"Huh? Yara, what's wrong with your eyes?" Jared Monroe had only told the other two that he was going to pick Yara Quillan up; he hadn't mentioned that she had actually been imprisoned in a hospital by Henry Lester.
Moreover, before he got off the plane, even Jared Monroe hadn't known that Yara Quillan had lost her sight.
