Unable to decide on a destination to clear their heads, the two decided to travel and search as they went, looking for a place suitable for raising a child where they could temporarily settle down.
They started their journey in Valoria, lived on a small island in the Aurelian Ocean for a few days, then wandered through several countries in Suridia. Afterward, they went to Zahara, and after a short stay, they set off for the nations of Vestria.
Ultimately, they chose Serena in Vespera.
Yara Quillan's eyes had completely healed during their travels. As far as she could tell, there were no lingering side effects.
When Yara Quillan had her stitches removed and saw Lucian Sloan's face, still as devastatingly handsome as ever, she froze for a moment before throwing herself onto him and bursting into tears.
She cried so hard that Lucian Sloan was at a loss. 'His Yara is still just a child, after all.'
