Rose Sanders wasn't afraid for herself, but she was afraid of dragging Yara Quillan into her troubles. So, after taking the risk of visiting Yara in the hospital, she made separate calls to Lucian Sloan and Sean Lowell to explain a few things, and then vanished from public view.
Yara Quillan woke up in the middle of the night, three days after Rose Sanders had left. The first thing she saw was Sean Lowell, slumped over and asleep by her bedside. Seeing that he was asleep, she couldn't bear to wake him. She tried to fumble her way out of bed, wanting to get some water for herself.
But she was so weak that she nearly fell out of bed. The commotion woke Sean Lowell, who quickly helped her back into bed.
"Sean, what happened to me? Have I been asleep for long?" Yara Quillan asked, looking at Sean as she lay back on the bed.
Sean tenderly stroked Yara Quillan's pale face and shook his head. "You've just been working too hard lately. You'll be fine after some rest."
