Only when she arrived did Leah Sinclair realize that the Zenith Club was completely different from her last visit. The entire interior had been renovated. A floor just above the middle had been turned into a dance pit, with private rooms extending upward from it on all four sides.
The higher up the rooms, the more private they were. The rooms on the top two floors even had secret chambers connected directly to the dance pit.
Without looking closely, it was impossible to spot the passages to the secret chambers. Guests who preferred privacy could take the higher-level rooms, while those who liked a livelier atmosphere could choose the rooms or booths further down.
Guests in the private rooms could go straight down to the dance pit or watch the lively scene from their room via a wall-mounted screen.
