When asked about Olivia Wynne's family, Zachary Fairchild's dark eyes swept over Mrs. Fairchild. "You'll know when you meet her," he said calmly.
His eyes narrowed slightly. Zachary Fairchild's large hand tapped lightly on his thigh, his thoughts unreadable.
Leonard Fairchild sat beside Mrs. Fairchild, his gaze lowered slightly. It was as if his eyes saw nothing but her.
"What do you mean, 'you'll know when you meet her'? You're getting your marriage certificate tomorrow! Shouldn't you bring the girl home for us to see?"
'I've wanted a daughter-in-law for so long,' she thought. 'Finally, there'll be a sweet young woman to keep me company. But my son refuses to bring her home. This simply won't do.'
With that in mind, Mrs. Fairchild turned to Zachary Fairchild again. "If you're too busy to bring her back, just tell me her name and give me her contact information. I'll go find her myself."
Mrs. Fairchild looked at Zachary Fairchild with an expectant expression.
