....

On a bright summer morning in Yangjing City, warm golden sunlight swept across the school grounds.

High school students walked through the school gate with full energy, their laughter and chatter filling the cool morning air.

Some students walked in pairs while joking around, while others jogged lightly to catch up with their friends.

The atmosphere was lively and cheerful, typical of the first day back at school after a long break.

However, amidst the crowd, a handsome young man in a simple high school uniform walked slowly from the direction of the gate.

His sharp Adam's apple, cold and strikingly attractive face, and tall, well-built posture immediately stole everyone's attention.

As soon as people noticed his presence, the atmosphere around the gate changed completely.

Whispers began to spread everywhere, and curious gazes followed his every step.

"Hey, who is that? A new student?" whispered one male student while nudging his friend.

"Damn… he's so handsome. Looks like a Korean idol," his friend replied with widened eyes.

In the group of girls standing near the entrance, their reactions were far more obvious.

Some girls immediately blushed, holding each other's hands while giggling softly.

"Oh my god… which class is he in? How come I've never seen him before?" said a long-haired girl in an excited whisper.

"He's ridiculously good-looking. Even in a plain uniform he looks like that? I want to ask for his number," her friend replied, covering her mouth as her cheeks turned red.

"Shh! Don't speak so loud, he might hear you. But seriously… he looks so cool."

The young man — our protagonist — only slightly curled his lips. His face remained flat, almost expressionless.

He continued walking at a relaxed pace, as if completely unaffected by all the stares and whispers trailing behind him.

"Just as I expected," he muttered quietly, his voice low and slightly uncomfortable.

"My appearance really draws attention. I feel like a monkey in a zoo."

His name was Lu Jingchen, a transmigrator from Earth.

Somehow, a few days ago, he had suddenly crossed over to this parallel world and taken over the body of a young man with the same name.

The body he possessed was actually quite good — handsome face, tall stature, and a bit of wealth.

He was the type of ordinary yet extremely attractive young man that many women desired.

The only problem was the classic transmigration plot. His parents in this world had just died in a truck accident a week ago.

He didn't know where that truck had taken him, but fortunately, his parents had left behind some inheritance.

Although it wasn't much, at least he didn't have to worry about housing and food for the time being.

His life was actually quite decent… of course, if it weren't for this thing constantly bothering him...

[Ding!]

[Protagonist and Heroine detected nearby! Would you like to check their status?]

Hearing the system notification ringing in his head, Lu Jingchen only frowned slightly.

He coldly ignored the system and shifted his gaze toward a certain direction in the crowd of students.

His eyes stopped on an ordinary-looking young man. His face was plain and easily blended into a crowd of thousands.

His uniform was worn and slightly faded, and his posture was slightly hunched, as if trying to hide himself.

He was talking to a girl beside him, his voice soft and full of humility.

Lu Jingchen raised an eyebrow slightly, then finally asked the system to check.

[Zhao Yunfei]

[Luck: 200/200]

[Talent: Occasional Luck (Blue)]

[Charm: 68]

[Favorability: 0]

[Combat Strength: 8]

[Identity: Protagonist of "My Luck is Chasing the School Goddess"]

(Latest opportunity: Accidentally peeked at a beautiful teacher masturbating in the office, then gained the chance to help satisfy her.)

Lu Jingchen's eyes gleamed faintly. He certainly wouldn't miss this opportunity and immediately planned to steal it.

He then shifted his gaze to the girl talking with Zhao Yunfei.

The girl was slender, with fair, clean skin and straight shoulder-length black hair.

Her smile was gentle, but her eyes held a deep sadness.

Her slim figure beneath the high school uniform looked beautiful, and her firm breasts slightly protruded as she laughed softly.

[Lin Qingwan]

[Luck: 1000/1000]

[Talent: Unfortunate Girl (Green)]

[Charm: 90]

[Favorability: 0]

[Combat Strength: 5]

[Identity: One of the Heroines of "My Luck is Chasing the School Goddess"]

After glancing at both of their statuses, Lu Jingchen asked in his heart,

"Are there descriptions of their talents?"

[Ding! Yes—!]

[Occasional Luck: You occasionally get lucky in various things randomly. In certain situations, you can control this luck.]

[Unfortunate Girl: Born into a poor family, mother deceased, father is a gambler and abusive. Currently living alone with your grandmother.]

Lu Jingchen now understood the 'cheat' of this protagonist a little better.

Most likely, this person's ability would create various coincidental plots and opportunities, such as gambling or similar events.

He smiled faintly in his heart. With this, I can deal with this protagonist...

Lu Jingchen said nothing more. He continued walking through the crowd of students toward the teachers' office.

After all, he was a transfer student. He needed to complete some formalities, greet the teachers, and prepare for class.

And of course… there was an interesting "opportunity" waiting for him there.

As he walked, Lu Jingchen felt a rare sense of anticipation since his transmigration.

The first day at this school seemed like it would be far more interesting than he had thought.
