Beron's eyes widened as a horrifying realization clicked in his mind. He looked between Malcolm's flushed, furious face and the intern's frozen composure. "Did the Architect Dahmer by any chance get to fuck you crazy, Malcolm? Because everyone knows an Enigma is the only type of man that can biologically impregnate another man. Did Dahmer knock you up, and now you're letting the office intern touch the belly? What kind of sick, twisted freak show are you running, Ford?"
Dahmer's hand slowly dropped from Malcolm's stomach. He stepped in front of the Alpha King, his tall frame suddenly straight, his shoulders square as the ambient air around his shoes began to turn ice-cold.
"Stop talking so much," Dahmer whispered, his voice dropping an octave, losing every trace of the fragile intern's warmth. "And get this done with."
