The two didn't say a word, just held each other quietly, enjoying this rare time alone together.
Until Sierra's stomach let out a loud GRUMBLE.
The sudden sound of a rumbling stomach echoed through the quiet room. Even though the two of them were so close, Sierra couldn't help but blush.
Jayce, however, didn't laugh. He sat up. "Sierra's hungry. Let's get up and eat something. After our meal, we'll go pick up Candice. I'll have my mom come over to see you too, just to put her mind at ease."
Thinking about all the things they had to do, Sierra couldn't lie still any longer and immediately flipped over and sat up.
Once they were both dressed, they went out to the living room. Sierra pulled two servings of luosifen from her space.
The luosifen was fiery hot and bright red, steaming as if it had just come off the stove.
And it wasn't just the luosifen; there was also a complete spread of all the various side dishes that go with it.
