Jayce stood up and looked at everyone. "Since we're all gathered together today, Sierra and I have something to tell you all."
Hearing this, Yvonne immediately looked over at Jayce, her eyes full of anticipation and her expression turning a little tense.
Everyone else also stared intently at Jayce, waiting for him to continue.
Jayce cleared his throat and said, "Sierra and I just met with Captain Grant. We told him we agree to his previous proposal to join the official team. From now on, you all won't have to live in constant fear."
Yvonne blinked. "That's it?"
"That's it!" Jayce was a little confused. "What else could there be?"
'Didn't I say everything that needed to be said?'
'Why does Yvonne have that kind of expression?'
Yvonne was speechless.
'What should I do? I suddenly have the urge to smack my son.'
'All my nervousness, excitement, and anticipation were for nothing!'
'I thought Jayce was going to announce something about him and Sierra...'
