The sky is getting dark, people trying to pack up for the end of the day's business. The lady kept walking down the lane with sluggish steps. It was evident of how tired she was with each steps more difficult to take. Finally she got to the shabby house that was 'Home' to her and her niece.
She was a smile as she saw her niece waiting outside with a lantern;
"She shouldn't catch a cold" she mutterd silently to herself as she close up the pace to her niece.The slender looking lady wearing a light piece of clothing with her hair messy but beyond that there was denial of her pretty looking she was with those slender waist that the rugged dress tries to hide beneath.
"Welcome Aunt Sarah, your bath is set and I tried making dinner to your taste, I hope you will enjoy it" the young lady said as she smiled warmly at her Aunt.
"C,mon Melly, there was no need for such stress, I don't want the young lady looking worn out like my very self" Aunt Sarah smiled as she lovingly stroke the lady hair trying, the without a doubt she meant everything to her.
"Instead of being worried about me, perhaps you should my darling Aunt and this is no bother for me, just come have your bath with the warm water I prepared for you"
The both ladies walk into the house as Aunt Sarah left to go use the bath prepared for her.
During dinner,there was less chatter on the table as Aunt Sarah was too tired to carry on the conversation. Melanie managed to take her to her room to lay down. It was late with the lights blown out for the night. Melanie stared into the darkness being unable to sleep. It was one of those nights with little warm air,she tossed around the bed and then finally she got up and walk to the window staring outside.
"It's so late" she whispered quietly with folded arms. It was like she got stuck into the night unable to sleep off and awake up the next morning. A part of her knew why she couldn't sleep, closing her eyes was already difficult for her especially during this time of year when... how could she forget anything about that incident, how mind kept spinning out of control. She clench her fist tightly. She was going to control it, no matter how hard it is even if she has to stay awake till dawn. She was stronger and wasn't going to succumb to her nightmares. Silent tears rolled out of her eyes as she bit her tongues hard, she needed to feel a different type of pain than the one that keeps making it difficult for her to breathe and no one must know that she is suffering. SHE MUST SURVIVE AGAINST ALL ODDS.
