At first, Josie Quinn and Lucas Lockwood coordinated their attacks and nearly killed one of the mutated zombies.
But soon, the two zombies actually learned to coordinate. While one launched a frontal assault, the other would ambush Lucas Lockwood and Jude Sheffield.
Lucas Lockwood had no choice but to use more of his superpower to erect ice shields while he attacked.
Seeing this, Josie Quinn grew anxious. 'At this rate, Lucas Lockwood's power won't last long.'
"Cece, take Jude Sheffield and go," Lucas Lockwood decided immediately. "I'll hold them off and figure out a way to retreat later."
'Even with me here running interference, we couldn't finish off these two evolved zombies. If I leave, Lucas Lockwood's power will just drain even faster.'
'But right now, it seems there's no other choice. If I stay, we'll all die here once our powers run out.'
"Okay, I'll take Jude Sheffield and go. Hold on, I'll be back to help you."
