Josie Quinn had given Cole a heads-up two days in advance.
She went straight to his room and knocked on the door. "Cole, time to head out."
Cole was changing. He was wearing a tactical vest, revealing a set of well-defined abs and sharp V-lines.
The man was tall, his muscle definition particularly impressive.
A smile played on Josie Quinn's lips as she looked him up and down, letting out an appreciative sound. "Mm, nice abs."
As she stared, Cole's Adam's apple bobbed. "Keep looking, and we're not leaving today."
Josie Quinn giggled. "I'll go wait for you outside. Hurry up and come out."
The moment Josie Quinn left, the corners of his lips quirked into a smile. He strode to the corner and picked up his pre-packed backpack, which also held a box of catalysts Julian Ford had sent over.
He deftly slung the enormous hiking pack over his shoulder and settled it on his back.
He walked to the main gate and met up with Josie Quinn, who was in the middle of a conversation.
