She sucked in a sharp breath of cold air.
Although Faye Yardley reacted quickly, using the medicine cabinet to chain together a series of side rolls and a low front flip to escape the zombies' encirclement.
But a zombie still managed to clip her left waist with a rising knee.
She rolled from under the examination bed out into the main room. Before she could even get up, her eyes swept over another zombie shambling in.
The zombie that had just entered didn't look like much of a threat.
The real danger was behind her!
With no time to stand, the long knife in her hand was swapped for a pistol.
BANG! BANG! BANG!
She fired with both hands, extinguishing the Soul Fire of the zombie at the door with one shot. The scarlet-eyed zombie, however, was clearly not so easy to hit in the eye.
The commotion attracted even more zombies in her direction.
Faye Yardley couldn't help but curse under her breath as she dodged another attack from the red-eyed zombie.
