Hearing a sound, Faye Yardley turned her head. The transparent protective wall from before had been broken at some point, and the people inside had all emerged. Their chains had been gnawed apart by the sharp teeth of the mutant white rats.
Faye Yardley glanced over. Many of the mutant white rats had bloodstained mouths, and broken fangs littered the ground.
Her gaze met that of the woman walking at the very front. The woman's eyes now held a faint pink hue, and the others stood behind her.
"Make them stop. We can sit down and talk this over."
The woman opened her mouth and shrieked. Immediately, all the Mutant Beasts receded like a tide.
Finn Ford seized the opportunity to pop a Hemostatic Pill into his mouth. The others wasted no time, using Bandages to wrap their external wounds.
Then, like the rest of their group, they drew closer to Faye Yardley, shielding her behind them.
Faye Yardley pointed to the area outside. "Shall we talk over there?"
