Early the next morning, Faye received a gift from her brother, along with an invitation to class.
Faye Yardley really wanted to pretend she hadn't seen it, but she was, in fact, the one who'd asked for classes.
After a moment of thought, she replied, telling him to invite her for class at 8 a.m.
'I'd rather spend three hours in the training room right now.'

It was a name she didn't recognize. She never expected that she would benefit when one of her island residents received an inheritance.
The Inheritance Scroll was kept in Franklin Yardley's house, so she gave him a call.
"Faye, good morning. Do you have any instructions for me?"
"Who is Mindy Jennings?"
