"Dad, if I remember correctly, this place should be a Naval Base. They should have boats or motorboats there, right?"
Caleb Bloom's brow twitched as he looked at the spot his daughter was pointing to.
Although it had been a long time since he'd been involved with the military, as a specially trained soldier, he had memorized the geography of various military sites.
He knew this place was a Naval Base, of course, but the question was, how did his geographically challenged daughter know?
Seeing the doubt and conflict on her father's face, Flora Bloom said, "Dad, saving Joel is the most important thing right now. Can we put everything else aside for a bit? If we take the exit for Highway 320, bypass the main road, and take the side roads to this base, it should be much faster than staying on the expressway the whole way."
