But something was even faster than them—the octopus monster! It tossed the two eggs from its tentacles toward Flora Bloom and Lex Cross, then snatched up several unknown red Energy Crystal Balls and vanished with a SWOOSH into a cavern tunnel.
"My Energy Crystals!" the male Thunderbird shrieked, watching the octopus monster disappear. His body crackled with thunderous sparks, burning with rage.
Those Energy Crystals were what he'd brought from his family to help incubate his offspring! How could they be stolen by a thief from the Great Crow clan!
