Sepherdine took Rita for a stroll through the market, explaining the rules of the trading post one by one. He did this for one simple reason: she was one of the five leaders of the base's new factions.
He had gotten this far not only thanks to Flora Bloom's support but also because he knew how to network. The other four captains of the new factions were busy leading their teams on hunts every day. Only this girl, Rita, stayed behind at the base, managing her team's logistics and other minor affairs.
Rita followed Sepherdine through the market, her face a mask of innocent curiosity. Internally, however, she was incredibly conflicted.
