"Brother?" The girl looked at Claude worriedly.
Claude sensed that the child was no longer absorbing his spiritual power. Well, even if she absorbed more, he probably wouldn't faint. He possessed a golden spiritual root capable of generating both spiritual power and mana simultaneously. However, he still couldn't fully control them yet.
"Are you still hungry?"
The little girl lowered her head sadly. Clearly, she was still hungry, but she was worried about hurting him. So, she decided not to absorb any more of his spiritual energy.
"Looks like I'll have to train harder to fill you up." Claude smiled helplessly. "How about we go to the dining room first? Maybe there's something there that might help you feel less hungry."
The girl nodded enthusiastically.
Claude walked hand in hand with his new little sister. Normally, maids would already be attending to him, but that day he had woken up unusually early, and the sun hadn't even risen yet.
