Caelis had almost forgotten. He only vaguely remembered leading a group of three teenagers many years ago. One of those teenagers had worn a white veil over her face.
Ah.
So that was when he first met Selene, fifteen years ago.
"It only lasted a month. I forgot long ago."
"Tsk." Logan clicked his tongue. "You claim you forgot, yet you still remember exactly how long you served as captain."
"Putting that aside," Caelis replied, "what honor have I received to bring every powerhouse in the world to challenge my territory?"
One of the Grand Masters from the Sword Sect immediately shot forward while riding upon his flying sword. "Grand Duke Valerian, we came here to confirm two things." The Grand Master hesitated.
Before he could continue, the voice from the floating island spoke once more. "You devoured Selene!! Do you confess to your crime?"
