Dominic Vance watched the stammering person before him, his face darkening even further. He stepped forward and grabbed Lucien by the wrist without another word. The movement was rather decisive, but it forced Lucien's arm to stretch out tautly, causing the young man so much pain that his eyes brimmed with tears as he let out a sharp hiss.
The man frowned deeply and rolled up the sleeve of Lucien's shirt.
Even though Lucien had haphazardly wrapped his arm in gauze, he had been clumsy enough to wrap it too thinly, allowing blood to soak entirely through the bandages. A wound like this should not have bled so profusely, but just as 000 had said, this body was currently being rejected by the world, meaning even the slightest injury would become significantly more severe.
