In the famously crime-ridden Gotham City, beneath its perpetually overcast sky, a massive light screen suddenly appeared.
At the entrance of the Batcave, Bruce Wayne—dressed in his black Batman suit—stood with a deep frown, staring up at the words and countdown displayed above.
In a low, magnetic, hoarse voice, he asked the butler behind him:
"Alfred, have you figured out who's behind this?"
The ever-reliable Alfred Pennyworth shook his head.
"No, Master Bruce."
"Whoever it is, I have no idea what method they used to project something this massive into the sky… and without any visible light source at that."
Hearing this, Bruce could only frown even deeper.
Without a traceable source, he had no way to act.
"Master Bruce, perhaps we should observe for now," Alfred added calmly. "I doubt this is the work of those lunatics."
"If it were them, what we'd see in the sky wouldn't be a screen… but missiles."
Bruce considered it—and agreed.
For now, he set aside the question of how and silently waited for the countdown to end.
On the deck of the Thousand Sunny, sailing the Grand Line—
Monkey D. Luffy, Usopp, and the crew's "emergency food supply" Tony Tony Chopper stared at the sky with shining eyes.
Two humans and one reindeer, six eyes sparkling with excitement—
"SUUUUGOOOOOI!!!!!!!!!"
"This looks amazing!!!"
"The numbers are counting down!!!"
"BAM!"
"BAM!"
Two sharp knocks rang out.
Luffy and Usopp instantly sprouted huge bumps on their heads before collapsing to the deck.
Behind them stood Nami, fist raised, glaring viciously.
"Quiet down!"
"Why only hit us? Why not Chopper? That's unfair!" Luffy protested, clutching his swollen head.
"Do you two even compare to Chopper?" Nami shot back with disdain.
She lowered her fist, then scooped up the fluffy, adorable Chopper into her generous embrace. Walking over to an empty lounge chair, she lay down comfortably.
"Chopper, come here. Let's watch together."
Nearby, Sanji—who had been fawning over Nico Robin—caught sight of this and instantly dashed over, nose bleeding profusely.
"Nami-swaaaaaan!!!!!!!"
"Please hold me like that too while we watch!!!!"
"This is my life's greatest wish!!!"
"BAM!"
Another victim joined the fallen duo.
"If your life is that filthy, you might as well end it early," Nami said coldly.
After that, she ignored the pile of unfortunate men on the deck and quietly hugged Chopper, waiting for the countdown above to finish.
In the world of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, at the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps—
"That's it!!! The breathing technique I used on Mount Natagumo… that was Hinokami Kagura!!!"
Pinned down before the Hashira, Tanjiro Kamado stared up at the screen, his face filled with excitement.
"Could someone tell me… what exactly everyone is seeing?"
A calm, gentle voice drifted out from within the estate.
"Master!"
The moment that voice sounded, all nine Hashira dropped to one knee in unison, welcoming its owner.
Tanjiro struggled to turn his head, trying to see who had spoken—
But a large hand suddenly pressed down on his head, forcing him back down.
It belonged to the Wind Hashira, Sanemi Shinazugawa.
"Don't show disrespect to the Master!"
"Everyone, rise," the gentle voice continued. "First, tell me what is happening in the sky."
"Though I cannot see… I am still very curious."
By now, the speaker had already approached Tanjiro.
"Yes!"
With permission granted, the Hashira stood. Sanemi removed his hand as well.
At last, Tanjiro got a clear look at the man.
Young. Frail. As if a gust of wind could knock him over.
His face was covered in grotesque scars, and his eyes held no light at all.
Just as Tanjiro was about to speak—
"SMACK!"
Sanemi's palm struck the back of his head again.
"Who told you to look at the Master with such filthy eyes?!"
"I didn't!" Tanjiro hurriedly protested. "I was just trying to explain—"
"There's no need to explain yet," the man interrupted gently.
"I believe I hear something coming from above. Could you tell me what's happening up there first?"
Kagaya Ubuyashiki turned his sightless gaze toward Tanjiro.
Tanjiro froze for a moment, then nodded.
"O-Okay…"
"Up there…"
Inside the Fairy Tail Guild—
It was as noisy as ever.
To be able to sit inside, drink, and watch the sky at the same time, Natsu Dragneel simply blasted a hole through the guild's roof with a Fire Dragon's Roar.
Now everyone could drink and watch—
But Natsu himself was hanging from a tree outside the guild, strung up as punishment by the guild master, Makarov Dreyar.
Even so, he still wouldn't shut up.
"Happy! Help me move these branches above my head! I can't see the screen!"
Floating beside him, the blue, winged cat Happy grinned mischievously.
"Nope~ The Master said only you aren't allowed to watch as punishment for destroying the roof."
"I don't care! I did it for everyone! I contributed to the guild! I want to see the Master! Take me to the old man!"
"Be quiet."
"BOOM!"
Annoyed by the noise, Erza Scarlet walked out and punched Natsu straight in the stomach.
The world returned to silence.
Across countless worlds—
The world of One Punch Man
The world of Naruto
The world of Gintama
The world of Dragon Ball
The world of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!
The world of Marvel
…and countless others—
Everyone looked up at the sky, waiting for the countdown to reach its end.
