ELARA'S POV.
Raya didn't bat an eyelid at my presence. She kept her focus on the still body on the stretcher, tracing her finger on his veiny lines and his rocky abs.
She ignored my presence like I was a ghost desperate for her attention. She continued studying the body until I scraped my feet on the floor.
"When are you going to stop this?" I muttered. "Haven't you done enough? I want to leave, I don't want to do this anymore. Why won't you just leave me alone,"
"For goodness sake, I thought we were done with this," she sighed and turned to me. "Elara, this is getting childish. It's not fun anymore. For how long are you going to keep crying?" She hissed.
I wished the earth could open up and swallow me, I wished I could get torn apart by the cosmic force of the earth. Anything to disappear from the face of the earth. I was nothing to them, just a puppet, a messenger with no will of mine.
