The perks of a new job was that you had to start a new page. I could get to socialize with my fellow workers, have lunch with them, throw my past behind you and hope to make a mark.
That was the reason I plastered a wide smile on my face as I dressed earlier than I was supposed to; that and the eighty thousand dollars I received for agreeing to work with them.
I stretched my hair, making sure it looked lush, smooth and with a sweet fragrance. My black skirt stopped above my knees adding a posh style to my stiletto heels stretching my foot. I tucked in my chest and thought hard about adding a suit to complete my look.
I didn't want to look too official and I didn't want to give them an impression that I cared less about the job.
Standing before my mirror with an indecisive look, my phone buzzed with a call. I spun around to get a view of my backside then I waltzed to the table beside my bed and picked up my phone.
