Chapter 1 - A World Not Worth Fighting For 1-

The man stood at the edge of the building, the wind brushing softly against his clothes. On his face… a strange smile. Cold. Unsettling.

Below him, bodies lay scattered across the ground, some lifeless, others barely clinging to what remained of theirs.

He let out a quiet sigh, his voice laced with boredom."Ah… I didn't expect you to be this weak."

One of them stirred.

Gravely wounded, his arm severed, blood pooling beneath him, he slowly lifted his head and looked up."Y… you… who are you?!"

The man didn't answer immediately.Instead, he walked toward him, calm, unhurried, as if nothing here held any weight.

He stopped just before him, a faint, chilling smile forming on his lips."The real question is… who sent you?"

The injured man trembled."You're insane! What did you do to my comrades?! You… you're a monster!"

The man paused… then let out a soft laugh.

"A monster?"

He leaned forward slightly, bringing his face closer. His voice dropped to something quiet… almost eerie."No… I'm just someone who's grown tired of this world."

He moved closer still, until his lips were near the man's ear."I thought you'd be stronger… but you were nothing more than a disappointment."

The man froze, terror flooding his eyes.

Then, in a low voice, he spoke:"Go… to your comrades."

A brief pause.

"And give them my regards."

In an instant

He moved a single finger.

The man's head fell.

Silence.

The man straightened, his gaze sweeping over the bodies before lifting toward the sky.

The smile faded, replaced by something deeper. Something emptier.

"This world… is no longer enough for me."

He closed his eyes, as if the void within him had begun to stir again.

"I want… battles worthy of me."

Then

Everything changed.

A door appeared before him.

No sound. No presence. No shadow. As if it had always been there… waiting.

A massive, unfamiliar door, engraved with symbols unlike anything from this world.

He stood still.

Then, a glowing interface surfaced upon it, like a message meant for him alone.

"Your wish will be granted.""Beyond this door… are worlds.""And beyond them… enemies stronger than you."

Another line appeared, cold and absolute:

"Warning: Once you enter, you will never return to your original world."

His eyes widened slightly.

For the first time in a long while… boredom vanished.

In its place

Curiosity.

He took a step forward… then another.

A faint smile returned.

"Worlds…?"

His hand slowly reached toward the door.

"And enemies… stronger than me…?"

He paused, as if sensing what lay beyond.

Then, calmly, yet with a hint of excitement:

"It seems… this is what I've been searching for."

For the first time

His smile wasn't just cold.

It was eager.

And without hesitation… he stepped inside.
