The date ended with them playing all the games in the arcadia, especially Ellen who was having loads of fun in this place. The last thing they did was virtual car racing. Henry had absolutely refused to dance, but jumped at the idea of car racing, after playing naughty beans. He had a great time beating them in the race with Eric coming in second. Ellen came in last as she barely knew anything about driving and they laughed. "Don't worry sweetheart, I'll teach you how to drive, so you can beat them next time." Henry comforted the pouting Ellen. "You will? That would be great. Thank you. I'd love to beat all three of you." Ellen said with excitement and anticipation in her eyes and voice. "Slow down sweetheart, I said I will train you to beat them, not me. You are no Louis Hamilton." Henry commented and they laughed again, leaving the premises after paying for the games and the snacks they enjoyed. It was almost 3pm when they left the place. "You guys up for the beach?" Eric asked when they got to the car park. "I had lots of fun getting my mind off things today, but I have to go home now. I'm sure my mom's home now and I want to know how her results went." Ellen refused politely. "Results? What results?" Henry asked with interest. "She wasn't feeling well last night so dad took her to the hospital today. I'm sure they are home by now." Ellen explained. "Oh, then we have to go. We'll do beach next time Eric, byee." Henry said with finality, opening the door for Ellen after she hugged Clara goodbye. "I hope she gets well soon Elle." Clara had whispered to her. "Enough with the fun boys, we have SAT coming up…next week to be precise and Ellen will be going back to school soon as well, we all need to prepare." Clara declared with authority and the boys smiled. "Yes ma'am", they said in unison, causing the girls to laugh. Henry finally got in the car and zoomed off, after bidding farewell once again. "Are you really going to teach me how to drive?" Ellen asked with excitement as they drove to Trasacco. "Yes, I will. I learnt how to drive when I was in junior high school, I'll definitely teach you if you want to" Henry said, flashing her a cute smile. "You know, when I came to school, I was told of a freshman who gave no chance to any guy on campus. They said she wouldn't even spare time for anyone, but I'm glad I got her first chance." Henry added, making Ellen blush. " I also heard of an infamous sports prefect, who was dating my house prefect, and her friends. I never thought I'd say yes now, or to him of all people. I had no intention of dating anyone and now ..." Ellen started but got cut off by Henry when her face grew solemn. "You're dating me." Henry finished her sentence. "I know I have a reputation, and it's not a good one, but if you're going to be in a relationship with me, you have to trust me as well, Eleanora. You're not like any other girl I've been with." He continued, taking her hand in his as he pulled up by their gate, where he picked her up this morning. "Not even Steph?" Ellen quizzed, remaining in the car for them to talk. "Naa, is special in her own way and so are you. Seriously, you should stop comparing yourself to her, Eleanora, I'm with you. I could have gone back to her, but I'm with you instead, and I know you have your reservations, but I'm telling you right now that I don't have any malicious intentions towards you, baby. I took you to freaking Paris and introduced you to my grandma. Ask any girl you know I've been with if I've taken her to Kempinski hotel, let alone Paris, or have ever met my grandma. I may splurge, but I don't overdo it if it's not worth it, and you my love, are worth all the splurging in the world. Besides, I have it in mind that I'll be a dead man if I pull any tricks. Even Rosie would kill me, she loves you too. (Ellen smiles and Henry pushes forward to place his forehead on hers) I love you, and I need you to believe me. I haven't felt this way in a long time and it's crazy..." Henry explained with emotions and kissed her after the last word. "Henry" Ellen called his name as she pulled back, earning a groan from the lover boy. "What?" He groaned. "I can't go home with a swollen lip. My family would bury me in the garden." Ellen said and they laughed. "Okay, last one." Henry pleaded and kissed her again, deepening it, but Ellen pulled back again. "Henry Yawson, do you want to have me hanged?" Ellen quizzed with a chuckle. He was about to answer when they heard a knock on the window at the driver's side. Henry pulled back while Ellen's heart dropped fearing her family members might have seen them. "Hi guys". A cheerful Abby greeted, making Ellen release a relieving sigh. "Abigail. What do you want?" Henry asked with indifference. "We're here to see you Elle, fancy meeting you here in his car, with swollen lips." Abby explained, pointing to Kelly who got down from the car behind theirs, and leaning in to see Ellen's swollen lips. "My lips are swollen? This is all your fault!" Ellen exclaimed in alarm, hitting Henry on the arm and earning a chuckle from her friends. "Hi Henry, Elle." Kelly greeted them excitedly. " It seems we're all lucky to meet here, else you'd have been in big trouble sister." Kelly teased as usual. "What do you mean?" Henry asked. "Since she's with you, it means she definitely used us as an excuse to get out of the house and we had no idea. Imagine if we got here before you two and asked for her, while her parents thought she was with us. It would have been a disaster, don't you think?" Kelly explained and Henry smirked. "That makes sense. So, you told them you're meeting these two huh?" Henry commented and asked with mischief in his tone and eyes. Ellen just rolled her eyes at him, trying to get her lips back to normal by touching them. "Let's go guys, my parents might call me anytime soon to come back home." Ellen said instead, trying to get out of the car when Henry pulled her back. "I hope you know my birthday is coming up?" He asked the startled girl who sat back with a jolt. "Really, when?" Abby asked with excitement. "September 5th, a week from now and few days till school reopens. Yes, I know." Ellen answered both of them. "Wow…that's great." Kelly commented. "I hope you are not planning to take me to Paris or any other place?" Henry asked with raised eyebrow. "Oh no, planning such surprises is your turf. I have no idea what to give you though, you have everything. What do you want?" Ellen replied in a distressed manner. "You, baby girl. All I want is you, everything else doesn't matter." Henry answered, pulling her in for a brief kiss as the girls giggled and she blushed. "You two just make me yearn for a boyfriend too, right Abby?" Kelly teased. "Of course. I need to hear someone say, "all I need, is you", to me." Abby supported and Henry winked at them. *ring*, "I told you mom would call me anytime soon. I have to go." Ellen said when her phone rang with her mother's name as the caller's id. She got out of the car before Henry could pull her back in, and he chuckled. "Let's go, I'll ride with you two." Ellen said to her friends. "Come on Elle, are you going to leave without giving him a goodbye kiss?" Kelly asked teasingly. "Ask again Kelly. This friend of yours is so harsh on me, very heartless." Henry complained with a pouty face which made the girls laugh. "Heartless? Seriously? I can't love you if I have no heart, can I?" Ellen said sarcastically behind her friends. "Abby, is it me or did Elle just tell Henry she loves him in front of us?" Kelly asked with a bewildered voice. "No Kell, she finally admitted it." Abby exclaimed and they squealed with excitement, making Ellen run to sit in their car out of embarrassment. She knew these two wouldn't let her live it down. "You two just embarrassed my girlfriend, costing me my kiss." Henry said, pretending to be annoyed. "Sorry Henry." Abby apologized with a smile. "Yeah, you'll get it next time. Elle won't do that willingly before us." Kelly commented and they bid him farewell. Henry paved way for their car to drive past him, when Ellen threw a flying kiss through her side of the window and giggled, her friends laughing hard. He smirked and shook his head, pulling out of the driveway to his house.
