JAY'S POV
I stood in front of the school.
Actually… my school.
I was dressed in my regular school uniform—not formal wear. Because no matter what, I was still just a student who would graduate in a few months.
And revealing that I was the new owner? That was the last thing I wanted.
I had arrived way too early because of this meeting.
Annoying.
I made my way toward the meeting room. Just before stepping in, I took a deep breath. It had been a long time since I attended any meeting like this . I didn't attend any meeting since my distanced myself from CCTV .
Then—
I walked in.
Straight toward the head chair. Like I owned the place. Because I did.
As I stood in front of them, I could clearly see the shock and confusion on their faces. A few board members already knew—but most teachers looked like they had just seen a ghost.
A student… sitting at the head chair.
Yeah. Definitely not what they expected. I finally spoke.
"Hello, everyone. Let me introduce myself. My name is Jasper Jean Mariano—the new owner of HVIS."
A few jaws literally dropped.
Some stared at me in disbelief. One board member tried to speak, but I ignored him.
"I don't need your introductions. Let's get straight to the point—that's why this meeting was called."
I paused, keeping my expression cold.
"First—the proposal to demolish Section E's building is rejected."
Silence.
"The building will not be demolished. It will be renovated."
I could see disapproving looks.
Good.
Let them look. They knew they couldn't do anything. A few of them tried to protest.
I looked at them—
Cold.
Sharp.
"I didn't ask for your opinions."
The room went silent instantly.
"I'm giving orders. And you will follow them."
No one spoke again. I continued,
"The building is structurally sound. After renovation, it will be at the same standard as the main building."
I tapped the table lightly.
"The renovation must be completed by June, so the new Section E classes can begin from the next academic session."
One teacher raised her voice slightly.
"And where exactly will the students study until then?"
I looked at her, unimpressed.
"Where do you usually teach students, ma'am? A classroom, right?"She went quiet. "Section E will have their own classroom in the main building. Just like every other section."
I leaned back slightly.
"Or is there a shortage of classrooms?"
She avoided my gaze.
"No, Miss Mariano."
"Good."
I noticed the expressions. Annoyance. Disapproval. But no one dared to argue. I didn't give them the chance.
"Next—something more important."
The room stiffened.
"All of you know how unfairly Section E has been treated."
Almost every head lowered.
"That ends today." My voice hardened. "You will treat every student equally—regardless of their background, money, or influence."
I looked at each of them.
"If I see even one unfair judgment… Be ready to face consequences. Or resignation."
They all nodded.
One by one.
"Today is Friday," I continued. "Renovation starts Monday. Inform the students today so they can shift their belongings to the main building by then."
I didn't wait for responses.
"And yes—Section E is officially allowed in the cafeteria from now on."
Again—
Silence.
Then I picked up the next file.
"Now—disciplinary action. I hope all of you remember what happened yesterday."
My voice dropped. Colder.
"While you all stood there… watching like it was entertainment."
A few shifted uncomfortably.
"A student was brutally beaten. And a girl was nearly harassed."
I looked straight at them.
"You should be ashamed."
No one dared to look at me now.
"This is your final warning. From now on, immediate action will be taken in any case of violence. And now Mykel Mitchell will be expelled. Effective immediately."
A few gasps.
But no arguments. Because they already knew. They had no power here. I closed the file. Final.
Then—
One last thing.
"As you all know, I am also a student here."
They looked up again.
"My identity as the owner will remain confidential. I don't want unnecessary attention or special treatment while I'm still studying here."
I leaned forward slightly.
"Is that clear?"
They nodded. All of them.
"Good."
I stood up, picking up my backpack.
"Everything is settled. The meeting is adjourned."
And without waiting for any formalities—
I walked out. I didn't even glance back. Because honestly? I still hated them. For everything they did before.
As I walked down the corridor, I tried to convince myself—
This was all for me. So I wouldn't suffer like them. But deep down… I knew the truth. I did it because I still cared.
Lost in my thoughts—
I didn't even realize when I reached my classroom
