Chapter 2: The Arena Appears, Uchiha Identity Exposed
What was this?
A genjutsu? Or some incredibly powerful ninjutsu?
Everyone stared up at the sky. The overwhelming aura sent a chill through every heart in the shinobi world — from crying infants to elderly people on their deathbeds. All of them opened their eyes at the same moment.
Soon, all kinds of rumors began to spread.
Some claimed it was Konoha's secret plan to unify the world — a massive ninjutsu created by countless ninjas working together to wipe out all life outside the Land of Fire.
Others said it was a powerful genjutsu designed to trap everyone's minds.
Speculation ran wild. But for ordinary civilians, the majestic structure floating in the sky left only one word in their minds — divine miracle.

"Report, Lord Raikage!"

A was already irritated by the constant stream of reports. Hearing that Killer Bee was causing trouble again made his blood boil.
He slammed his massive, dark-skinned hand on the table, lightning crackling around his body. With a furious glare, he vanished from his spot and reappeared directly beneath Killer Bee, who was trying to launch himself into the air.
"I told you not to cause trouble right now! Lightning Release: Lariat!"
With a loud scream, Killer Bee was sent flying hundreds of meters into the sky before crashing back down.
Boom!
A huge crater formed in the ground. Killer Bee lay inside it, his body battered from the impact, barely conscious.
The Raikage appeared beside him and asked coldly, "So? What is that structure?"
"It…"
Killer Bee knew he couldn't avoid a scolding. He could only say that as he rose higher, the distance between him and the structure didn't change — similar to a genjutsu.
Land of Earth.
Onoki floated in mid-air. He had noticed the anomaly long ago.
Unsure what the Arena truly was, he had already placed all of Iwagakure on high alert.
If this really was a ninjutsu from another nation, its scale was terrifyingly massive.
Land of Water.
Mei Terumi stood by the window, her body trembling with fear.
The Land of Water had only recently regained peace, and her rule was still unstable. She couldn't afford any more chaos right now.
The people, still traumatized by the Bloody Mist era, looked at the sky and felt nothing but despair, reminded of Yagura's tyrannical rule.

"What is this?"
Orochimaru's eyes were filled with confusion. At first, he thought Konoha had discovered his movements and cast a ninjutsu targeting him.
But when he extended his senses, he realized the aura was far beyond anything he understood as ninjutsu.
Moreover, when he probed the structure, he clearly felt it scan the entire shinobi world in a single instant.
"Oh… how interesting!"
Hokage's Office.
Danzo burst through the door. "What the hell is going on?"
"Is this Orochimaru's doing?"
Hiruzen Sarutobi stood with his back to Danzo, staring at the sky. He replied coldly, "Whoever is behind this, they are no ordinary opponent. I've already ordered the ANBU to prepare for battle."
Danzo nodded.
He had already positioned Root in hidden locations before entering.
He wasn't interested in calming the public chaos. If this turned out to be a wide-area destructive ninjutsu, at least Root would survive and preserve Konoha's fighting strength.
Soon after, Hokage advisors Koharu Utatane and Homura Mitokado also arrived.
The four of them exchanged glances, all sharing the same confusion.
Hiruzen signaled his guards to leave the office. Once they were gone, only the four senior leaders remained.
"Uchiha… Yeyun!"
Danzo spoke first, his eyes filled with murderous intent.
"Did Itachi deliberately hide this one? Hiruzen, didn't you say Itachi could complete the mission? How is there still an Uchiha left alive outside the clan?!"
Homura added, "I checked the Uchiha clan records before coming. There's no information on any Uchiha Yeyun. The only matching record is a child named Uchiha Lingyun who was declared missing and presumed dead at age five."
"This must have been arranged by Fugaku!"
Hiruzen continued staring out the window, his back to the others.
He had heard of Yeyun before — a boy adopted by a pair of Konoha jonin. The couple later died during a secret mission.
Yeyun had spent most of his childhood traveling on missions with his adoptive parents. After their death, Hiruzen made an exception and allowed him to take missions even as a genin.
Over the years, although his strength wasn't particularly high, Yeyun had gained some fame in Konoha. His calm judgment and control over situations during missions were considered outstanding. Hiruzen had even considered promoting him and letting him join the ANBU.
And now, the boy who had grown up under his watch turned out to be an Uchiha. How could Hiruzen not be shocked?
At that moment, the scene in the sky changed.
Two figures appeared on the Arena above.
As people watched curiously, the view suddenly zoomed in, displaying part of the Arena clearly.
The ground was paved with blue-green stone covered in mysterious runes, looking extremely hard and durable. In the center stood two people.
One was a chubby boy who looked like an octopus dumpling, with a large "食" (Food) character written on his stomach — Choji Akimichi.
The other wore black-rimmed glasses, a simple rough shirt, and black pants, looking somewhat lazy.
When this person appeared, several people across the shinobi world showed expressions of shock.
They knew that face all too well.
None of them had expected him to still be just a genin!
"It's him!"
Uchiha Yeyun looked at the information displayed above the Arena and felt his heart sink.
What was this?
Another system he had awakened?
He tried to control it, but there was no response.
