After dealing with Jogo, Shin quickly filed a report and had the local Assistant Supervisor drive him to other surrounding disaster areas.
Just as the various Jujutsu Sorcerers were rushing around to provide disaster relief, Hanami quietly snuck into Tokyo Jujutsu High with Mahito.
Although Tokyo Jujutsu High had a special Barrier set up by Tengen that could identify the Cursed Energy of outsiders and sound an alarm, Hanami's Cursed Energy properties were extremely unique. Even Tengen's Barrier would only perceive it as an ordinary plant, so it would not trigger an alarm.
"Mahito, the primary mission is to retrieve the Sukuna fingers from the Jujutsu High treasury. Once you have safely retrieved it, we will act together to capture Itadori and then immediately retreat."
Mahito nodded to indicate understanding, then followed his special mark into the multi layered barrier set up by Tengen.
In each layer, only one was the correct path to the next level. Without a special password, entering would be almost impossible, but Mahito could follow his Cursed Energy fluctuations to easily pass through all the barriers, as skillfully as if he were returning home.
The Jujutsu Sorcerers guarding outside the treasury were no match for Mahito at all. They were killed instantly upon their first encounter.
Mahito walked into the treasury, and looking at the dazzling array of Cursed Tools and cursed objects around it, revealing a greedy smile.
"I didn't expect Jujutsu High to be so wealthy. I'll take more cursed objects with me when I leave later."
He immediately went to search for the Sukuna fingers. Very quickly, he discovered two fingers on a shelf covered in seals, and Mahito was shocked.
"How can there only be two? Could it be that the people at Jujutsu High separated them?"
He quickly ran through the entire treasury, but found no traces of other fingers. Gritting his teeth, Mahito destroyed the seals on those two fingers, packed them into a prepared bag, then scanned the surroundings and stuffed everything that caught his eye into the bag.
'Although I didn't find many Sukuna fingers, getting this many Cursed Objects and Cursed Tools is not bad at all.'
The moment Mahito destroyed the seals, Tengen sensed it. She immediately issued orders to the Jujutsu Sorcerers at Jujutsu High and in the vicinity, and sealed the external barrier of Jujutsu High to prevent the thief from escaping.
