[Task Hint: Randomly join a middle school and apply to join its basketball team]

[Task Reward: 1000 cat food pellets]

After reading the task information, Ryu remained silent for a long time.

He understood now. His "cheat" was Karupin.

He didn't have a system, but Karupin did. Fortunately, Karupin could share it with him.

Karupin was now like Ryu's guide.

With Karupin, Ryu also knew which path to take from now on.

Basketball. This was the only path he could take.

A person and a cat walked down the street.

Karupin perched on Ryu's shoulder.

They attracted many stares from passersby.

However, Ryu felt there was something strange about those gazes.

Ryu frowned and looked himself over.

He then realized his clothes were covered in blood.

"I'd better find a place to wash up first!"

Just then, Ryu saw a convenience store.

In his memory, most convenience stores had restrooms.

He stood in front of the glass door of the convenience store.

Ryu stared blankly at his reflection in the glass.

That strange hair. That so handsome face.

"Is this me?"

That feeling—it was him, yet it didn't feel like him.

It felt very strange.

He saw bloodstains on his hair, face, and clothes.

His appearance was extremely terrifying.

Good heavens.

No wonder those people looked at him so strangely.

He looked like he had just been tortured.

He stopped thinking about it and went into the convenience store.

The clerk, seeing Ryu's appearance, kept his distance, not daring to utter a sound, his eyes full of fear.

Ryu didn't care what the clerk was thinking.

He went straight into the restroom.

After washing up, he felt much better.

Looking at himself in the mirror with silver hair and silver eyes, he looked absolutely stunning.

He felt no sense of incongruity; it was as if this was how he was supposed to look.

Teiko Middle School.

He thought of the five—no, six—of the Generation of Miracles.

Their hair was a motley collection: red, yellow, purple, green, cyan, blue.

Now, there was his own silver hair. Looks like he had the potential to make it to the first team.

No wonder Haizaki Shogo was kicked off the basketball team—his hair wasn't natural; it was dyed.

Oh dear! I think I've suddenly discovered something incredible.

After washing up, Ryu put on his wet shirt and left the convenience store, walking home.

In his stillness and movement, he could easily see the weaknesses of every passerby. It was as if he could see through everything.

Is this the power of the Hyotei Eyes? It's insane.

With these eyes, wouldn't he be invincible?

Ryu felt as if he possessed a godlike perspective.

He could manipulate everyone at will.

He just didn't know how it compared to the "Eye of the Heavenly Emperor."

The Generation of Miracles...

how exciting!

Tokyo.

A high-end villa district.

Ryu stood before the gate of a villa, Karupin still perched on his shoulder.

This was his current residence.

This villa was prepared by Ryu's parents for his convenience in attending school.

Ryu opened the door and went inside.

After playing with Karupin for a while, Ryu went back to the kitchen to cook.

Soon, the food was ready.

Before they knew it, a dinner had ended.

Night.

Ryu didn't do anything unnecessary; he just took a shower and went back to his room to rest. He needed to be well-rested to face tomorrow, because tomorrow was crucial to his future plans.

Of course, Karupin slept beside him.
