Chapter 1 - The First Cracks

Natalia was born into a life that once looked like a dream… but slowly turned into a lesson.

Before she ever took her first breath, her mother had already fought battles many people could not survive.

Natalia's mother was an orphan, a young girl who grew up in a quiet village where survival was not guaranteed, and comfort was a luxury. She didn't know what it felt like to be guided, protected, or properly loved. Life taught her everything the hard way.

She struggled… deeply.

Some days, it was hunger.

Other days, it was loneliness.

And sometimes, it was a silent battle within her mind, a condition that came and went, confusing her, overwhelming her, but never completely breaking her.

Then one day… life changed.

She met a man.

Natalia's father.

He was everything her life had never been stable, present, and kind. Where she had known lack, he carried abundance. Where she had known confusion, he brought calm.

He saw her… not as broken, but as someone worth loving.

And he loved her fully.

Even when her mind drifted…

Even when her episodes came…

Even when she wasn't "perfect"

He stayed.

They got married, and for the first time in her life, Natalia's mother felt safe.

Not long after, they left the village behind and moved to a new state, a fresh start, a new beginning. Together, they built a life that many people would envy.

They had money… real money.

Comfort. Ease. Soft living.

For a while, everything felt perfect.

But comfort can sometimes be deceptive.

Natalia's mother, having never experienced wealth before, relaxed into it completely. She trusted that the money would always be there. And because she wasn't educated or exposed to financial discipline, she didn't know how to manage or multiply what they had.

Her husband provided… generously.

But there were no real investments.

No structure. No long-term plan.

Money was flowing… but not growing.

Then Natalia was born.

A beautiful child. A new hope. A blessing.

But not long after her arrival… something began to change.

Slowly… quietly… almost unnoticed at first,

the money started reducing.

What once felt endless… began to shrink.

And no one was prepared for it.

And just like that, the life they had built so carefully began to show its first cracks.
