Chapter 1 - Rayn the broken hero

📘 CHAPTER 1 (IMPROVED VERSION)

Rayn — The Boy the World Rejected

The rain had stopped, but the sky still looked broken.

Rayn stood on the dusty street, holding his little brother's hand tightly.

He was only a boy—but the world had already treated him like he didn't belong.

Behind them, laughter echoed.

"Hey, orphan!" a bully shouted.

"Where are your mom and dad now?"

Another laughed. "Oh right… they left him!"

Rayn stopped for a moment.

His fists tightened.

But he didn't respond.

He just kept walking.

Step by step.

Like the words didn't exist.

His little brother looked up at him. "Big brother…"

Rayn forced a small smile.

"It's okay… just keep walking."

🏚️ The Aunt's House

The door opened slowly.

Rayn stood outside his aunt's house, tired and silent.

"I… need help," he said softly.

But his aunt's face was cold.

"You think I will raise another burden?"

Rayn blinked.

"…Please. Just me and my brother."

She looked at them for a second.

Then shook her head.

"No."

The door closed.

BANG.

Silence.

💔 The Breaking Point

Rain started again.

Rayn stood outside in the dark, holding his little brother close.

No home.

No parents.

No one.

His voice trembled.

"Why… Mom? Dad?"

"What did I do wrong?"

His brother cried silently.

Rayn's eyes burned.

But he didn't stop crying this time.

He let it fall.

⚡ The Stranger

Footsteps.

Rayn quickly wiped his face.

A man in a dark coat stood nearby.

"You look like you need work," the man said.

Rayn hesitated.

"…Yes."

The man studied him.

Then turned slightly.

"Follow me."

Rayn froze.

A choice.

A broken boy… and an unknown path.

He looked at his little brother.

Then nodded.

"…Okay."
