Chapter 3 - “Welcome home, Master!”

After returning to the Holy Land of Mary Geoise, Is and Dorak parted ways, each heading back to their respective castles.

"You can head back now. I'm perfectly safe here."

"Yes, Saint Aurelius D. Virel Is. If you require anything, please contact us—we will arrive at the fastest speed to serve you."

Is waved his hand, signaling the men in black suits to withdraw.

Then, holding the chain in his hand, he slowly walked into his own castle.

"Welcome home, Master!"

The moment he stepped inside, six women dressed in different styles came forward and surrounded him.

Naturally, their appearances varied greatly.

There were mature and alluring types, cute and delicate ones, and dazzling beauties… all kinds.

Yes—they were all Is's slaves.

The only difference compared to other Celestial Dragons' slaves was that none of them bore any scars. Their eyes were full of life, and their clothes were clean and neat.

To be honest, they didn't look like slaves at all.

And in truth, Is never treated them as such.

He casually tossed the chain and its key onto the ground.

Even so, Roz Minian simply stood there blankly, fear filling her eyes, not daring to move.

Meanwhile, with the help of the maids, Is quickly removed his bubble helmet and changed out of the signature attire of a Celestial Dragon.

To be honest, even though he wore those clothes often, he still wasn't used to them.

They were just too inconvenient.

After changing into a set of loose clothing, he lay down on the sofa, resting his head on a maid's thighs while calmly eating fruit fed to him.

Before long, drowsiness crept in, and with his head still resting there, he fell asleep.

Not long after, a mechanical voice echoed in his ears.

"Ding. Treasure Hunting System loading complete. Successfully activated."

At the sound of this voice, Is suddenly sat upright.

His heart raced, and he gasped for breath.

"M-Master, are you alright?" one of the maids asked worriedly.

Is didn't answer. He steadied himself, grabbed a glass of red wine from the table, and drank it down in large gulps.

Another woman quickly stepped forward, taking a handkerchief to wipe the wine from the corner of his mouth.

"I'm fine."

"Did you have a nightmare?"

Is shook his head. Then he stood up, his gaze landing on Roz Minian, who was still standing by the entrance.

"Use the key to remove the chain from her. Then take her to bathe and change into clean clothes."

After saying that, Is went upstairs.

One of the maids hurried after him and asked, "Shall we send her to you afterward, Master?"

"No need. Just explain the rules here to her."

"Yes, Master!"

As the shackles around her were removed, Roz Minian's face filled with confusion.

In her impression, Celestial Dragons were supposed to be extremely cruel and twisted.

But after encountering one today… it didn't seem quite like what she had imagined.

"You all…"

Her voice was low.

"Us?"

"We're the same as you. Slaves bought by Master."

Hearing this, Roz Minian found it hard to believe. No matter how she looked at them, they didn't seem like slaves at all.

"Why don't you run?"

At her question, none of them showed any change in expression. It was as if they had heard it countless times before.

"You can run," one maid replied.

That unexpected answer left Roz Minian stunned.

"Of course, if you escape successfully, then that's your luck. But if you get caught… Master won't even spare you another glance."

"And besides, we don't need to run. Master treats us very well."

With that, the maid turned and walked forward, reminding her over her shoulder:

"Please follow me. I'll take you to bathe."

In the bedroom on the second floor, Is's expression was filled with excitement.

"Finally… after two years, the system has finally activated."

There was no way he could remain calm.

As a transmigrator, he understood better than anyone the position of the Celestial Dragons.

Ordinary people might fear them.

But those with true strength? Who would actually take Celestial Dragons seriously?

Only power was the real guarantee of safety.

To be honest, Is had no intention of becoming a lamb waiting to be slaughtered.

After all, according to the original story, Celestial Dragons would inevitably have to pay the price one day.

And once they lost their protection, they would naturally become enemies of the entire world.

After that, Is began exploring the functions of the system.

As the name suggested—the Treasure Hunting System.

Once a week, he could perform a treasure hunt.

The rewards could come from anything across countless worlds.

Weapons, abilities… even people.

"Ding. Congratulations to the host for receiving compensation: Enhanced Paper-Paper Fruit. Weakness to seawater and Seastone reduced by 50%."

As the system's voice fell, Is suddenly felt a weight in his hand.

Looking down, a round fruit had appeared in his palm—yellow-skinned, covered in spiral patterns.

The Paper-Paper Fruit.

It didn't seem to exist in the pirate world… but its ability resembled something like Konan's powers.
