Long before time had a name, the first Spinjitzu Master created Ninjago using the five elemental weapons.
Five weapons: a scythe, a sword, shurikens, a nunchaku, and a staff.
When he died, a dark presence sought them: his son, Lord Garmadon.
So I, Sensei Wu, his brother, searched for five ninjas to collect them first.
However, one of the Golden Weapons remained in the possession of Lord Garmadon's pupil...
Sensei Wu was meditating peacefully but began to be distracted by the sounds of activity coming from his four ninjas, his students. He went to the training area, and there wasn't a soul there, just cobwebs and dust. Moving to another room, he found them playing video games, quickly turning it off, which was met with much displeasure from the ninjas.
"Just because Lord Garmadon fled through a vortex doesn't mean he won't return one day for the Golden Weapons of Spinjitzu! Besides, one of the weapons is still in the possession of Lord Garmadon's pupil" he explained, staring at them.
"But, Sensei Wu, since he left, Ninjago has always been at peace" said Zane, the White Ninja.
"And his pupil, the Purple Ninja, disappeared the same day, and nothing has been heard of her since" Kai, the Red Ninja, shrugged "though I would've loved to defeat her first..."
"Yeah, peace is boring. No one to save and nothing to do" Jay, the Blue Ninja, complained.
"We can train tomorrow" said Cole, the Black Ninja, lazily lying down.
"Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today" he stared at them a bit seriously.
"Well, I was going to eat this pizza tomorrow, but since that's the case..." Before Cole could eat it, Sensei Wu kicked it away "Ouch!"
"No pizza! To maximize your potential, you must train!"-He said, spinning quickly.
"Ahhh. Remember when we did that thing called the Tornado of Creation? I thought that was pretty awesome!" Sensei Wu sighed at what Kai said.
"You've barely scratched the surface of your potential! There are still so many secrets you need to discover. You haven't unlocked a fraction of the potential your Golden Weapons possess" he exclaimed, a bit disappointed with his lazy students.
"You want to see real potential? Watch this" Cole grabbed his scythe and connected the TV's plug.
All the ninjas cheered when they managed to get back to playing their favorite game.
"Don't worry, Sensei Wu, we'll be ready for when Lord Garmadon returns" Zane assured him.
A girl hurriedly entered, a bit breathless and somewhat scared.
"Guys! Lord Garmadon, he's back! He was seen near Jamanakai Village" Nya, Kai's sister, crossed her arms, disappointed with the ninjas.
The ninjas were all clumsy and kept tripping over themselves or things, but in the end, they managed to grab their golden weapons and put on their masks. When they went to mount their dragons, it was a complete disaster; they missed the saddle, dropped their golden weapon, or couldn't grab the reins.

One Week Earlier
A young woman, a ninja with her face covered, only her eyes visible, walked through the streets of a village, observing everyone, looking for someone. She looked at a photo in her hand: a child with light blond hair, emerald green eyes, wearing black clothes with a cape and hood, seemingly with bones drawn on them along with a number.
As she walked, a man with an eye patch, scruffy beard, straight and somewhat long hair, a red hat, and dressed like a warrior sneaked behind her, eyeing the golden staff with the intention of stealing it. He reached out for the staff, but before he could grab it, the ninja turned as fast as lightning and grabbed his neck, lifting him into the air.
"Don't even think about it" she said sternly.
"Hahaha, I wasn't-" he started to choke "Let me go! I'll... I'll do whatever you want!"
She tilted her head to the side for a second but let him go, though she quickly pushed him against a wall.
"Tell me where I can find this boy, and I'll let you go" she said, frowning with a threatening look.
The man looked at the photo, vaguely recognizing the child.
"If I'm not mistaken, he studies at the Darkley's School for Bad Boys" the man explained.
"And where is it?"
"You know, giving out information for free isn't good for—" The golden staff was placed against his throat.
"I guarantee this staff is sharper than a sword" she threatened.
"The school is...!"

"I'm looking for Lloyd Garmadon" the purple ninja said sternly to the principal.
The man, dressed in very villainous-looking clothes, gulped. This ninja had simply invaded his evil school, causing chaos, but nothing too abnormal for them.
"H-He was expelled!" he principal explained hastily.
The ninja looked at the ground, thinking for a second, before sighing and lowering her staff, moving it away from the principal's throat.
"This was useless!" she grunted to herself before leaving.
The principal could finally breathe normally, just another day for him.

"Jamanakai Village" the ninja murmured to herself.
There were rumors that her master, Lord Garmadon, had returned and was in this village, but she suspected it was actually her master's son. And her suspicions were correct.
"The other ninjas" she murmured, hiding.
Her purple outfit allowed her to blend into the shadows a bit better, though not as well as the Black Ninja, Cole, could... if he really wanted to be stealthy. The villagers had thrown food at Lloyd, angry at being afraid of a little boy who was just Lord Garmadon's son. The ninjas grabbed Lloyd, taking him away.
"And now what do we do, punish him?" the red ninja asked his friends.
Then the four were surprised by the purple ninja, who easily grabbed the boy in her arms and kicked the other ninjas. She did a flip in the air and landed on her feet.
"Hand him over" she demanded, putting him down.
"Wow! Who... who are you?" Lloyd asked, impressed.
The purple ninja didn't answer him yet, giving him a brief look before her sharp eyes turned back to the ninjas.
"You!" Kai practically growled at her "Now I'm gonna kick your ass! You'll pay for kidnapping my sister!" He grabbed his sword.
"Your anger and temper will lead to your downfall, Master of Fire" she murmured, quickly dodging Kai's attacks.
"Kai! Wait! Did you forget she can see through your moves?!" Zane tried to warn him.
The girl seemed more skilled and somewhat more experienced than them, managing to dodge their blows. She quickly moved her hands to her back and grabbed her staff, her Golden Weapon, blocking Kai's sword attack.
"Kai!" Jay tried to warn him, but it was too late.
The ninja had concentrated an energy of a translucent blue color, glowing a bit, and hit Kai directly in the stomach. The ninja lost his breath and fell to his knees.
"Kai!" His friends ran towards him, clearly worried.
The ninja placed her staff in the holder on her back and whistled. She picked up Lloyd, who was in shock and enchanted by the young woman's fighting skills but snapped out of it with a powerful roar. A dragon, more like a wyvern, appeared. Beautiful violet, blue, and silver scales, large wings that beat softly with almost no sound. A long tail with spikes, curved horns like those of goats, cyan-colored eyes, its hind claws golden, as well as the claws on the joint of its wings, almost like a type of hand. The dragon wore iron armor, almost covered in ashes. Its saddle, on its back and a bit near its neck, had a comfortable chair that fit only one person but could be adjusted. The reins were chains with a wooden part.
"Hold on tight, Young Master" the purple ninja requested.
The ninja leaped onto the rooftops until she managed to jump onto her aura dragon's back. The dragon roared as the ninja landed in the saddle with the child. The dragon spat what looked like a translucent blue neon fire, which exploded in the air, generating a large dark smoke.
"Dramatic" the ninjas muttered, seeing the dragon ascend after the explosion.
Kai managed to stand up, though with his hand on his stomach.
"Now we know she's still out there and also..."Zane began.
"She's much stronger" Jay finished.

The dragon landed in a rocky field near a snowy (or elevated) mountain. Lloyd and the ninja jumped out of the saddle, and the dragon lay down, watching them.
"Who are you?" Lloyd demanded, looking at the ninja.
The ninja stared at him for a second before bowing, lowering her head in respect.
"I am the Purple Ninja, Master of Aura, and that is my aura guardian dragon: Sprint. Your father is my master; he sent me to find, protect, and serve you. I am at your disposal, Master Lloyd" she said, lifting her head slightly to look at him.
Lloyd smiled, liking the idea of having a strong warrior in his army.
"Then we have to start planning my revenge against the ninjas. But first, I want to see your face" he said with a hint of curiosity.
The mask completely hid her face, and he was very curious about it. Lloyd simply pulled her mask up.
Lloyd was impressed by her beauty, with firm eyes, short white hair with one side shaved, defined eyebrows, a bit of her hair dyed, simply beautiful.
"You're very beautiful!" he complimented her, smilin "Uhhh... What's your name again?"
"Moon... Just Moon"

The three of them were walking on a snowy mountain, with Lloyd leading.
"Stupid ninjas!" he kicked a stone "I'll show them who they're dealing with!"
Lloyd kept kicking more stones until one hit something harder.
"Young Master, I ask you to be careful" the ninja said when she recognized the place as a tomb, sensing living auras below it.
Sprint growled and snarled, not liking the place at all.
Unfortunately, Lloyd didn't listen and moved a lever that started to open the tomb. Lloyd ended up falling in, but the purple ninja was quick to catch and protect him as they slid down.
The dragon tried to grab his ninja's clothing to prevent them from falling, but was too slow. This resulted in dissatisfied and worried growls from him, as he was too big to fit in the hole.

Moon held Lloyd firmly in her arms as they slid, easily landing on her feet.
"Where are we?" Lloyd asked, looking around once she let him go.
"I believe we are in one of the Serpentine's tombs..." the ninja replied, looking around.
Lloyd started walking through the tomb and the purple ninja closed her eyes, concentrating. She managed to see auras of snake-men hidden in the shadows and even their general. She opened her eyes.
"Young Master! Be careful!" she warned too late, but grabbed her staff.
"Look into my eyesss. Do not resssist. I control you" the snake general Hypnobrai tried to hypnotize Lloyd, which was working until he slipped. The hypnosis ended up being reflected by the ice and hypnotized the general instead.
"No. I control you from now on!" Lloyd said, smiling and pointing at him.
"How can we sssserve you, Massster?" the General asked.
"We?" Lloyd was confused for a second, but then more snakes emerged "My own army of snakes! Muhahaha!"
Moon observed and approached, still holding her Golden Weapon.
(Never trust a snake) she repeated this thought to herself.

The snakes were a bit terrified of the ninja's dragon but had to overcome it. The dragon didn't like the snakes at all and growled at them whenever he could.
"Here we are, Young Master" Moon said once they arrived in Jamanakai Village.
"I want candy! Get all the candy!" Lloyd said, smiling atop the dragon.
"Get the candy!" the general ordered once he heard what Lloyd said.
Moon and Garmadon's son walked through the city on Sprint, which was a direct request- order, from him.
The armored dragon found it uncomfortable due to the small place.
"Wait! I want to eat some candy" Lloyd asked, looking at the cart full of candy.
Moon pulled the reins and the dragon stopped, then lowered itself so they could get off. The purple ninja helped him easily.
Lloyd ran off to eat some candy.
"Candy! I need more candy!" he said with a smile.
Everyone in the village was in a panic with the snakes and were being hypnotized.
She observed Skales, the second in command and successor of the General, questioning his actions for a little boy who isn't even a snake.
(We'll have too much trouble with that snake)
Then the ninjas arrived on their dragons.
"I'll never leave this sugar dream!" he said excitedly, smiling.
The ninjas appeared with a forward somersault.
"Sorry to spoil your fun, little Garmadon" Cole said with a smile under his mask.
"Yeah! It's way past your bedtime" Jay said with his hands on his hips.
"Get them!" Lloyd ordered his army.
The purple ninja watched from the shadows, waiting for the right time to attack. The general shook his tail and ordered them to go after him.
(The ninjas' weapons are unstable? How pathetic) thought the purple ninja.
The ninjas tried to escape and Moon followed, watching them talk to the girl she had once kidnapped.
She is definitely the smartest on the team.
(Green ninja?) she raised an eyebrow.
Anyway, Moon jumped and attacked Jay, easily dodging his nunchucks and using her fists to attack and direct the blows.
She kicked him in the back and then grabbed her staff, fighting Cole head-on. Moving her body, she managed to lift him and throw him towards a wall.
Moon saw that Zane threw his shurikens at Lloyd's cart and was going to grab him.
"Ninja, Go!" the purple ninja said as she used her Spinjitzu.
The tornado was a bright purple color and hit Zane, sending him flying.
"You ninjas are really out of shape" she murmured.
"Retreat!" Lloyd shouted.
"Retreat!" the general said.
Lloyd quickly ran to the protective "wings" of the purple ninja, who ran to the dragon, placing him in the saddle.
Then they and the snakes escaped and returned to the Hypnobrai tomb.
(I will not fail my mission) she thought, looking at Lloyd while holding her golden staff.
She observed the snakes, her eyes narrowed as she watched Skales and the general conversing, certainly his second-in-command would take over eventually, which is quite predictable given the situation.
