Might Guy.
There are two reasons why this man is carved into Chinatsu's DNA like a forbidden technique.
First, in the original Naruto history, when all Kage-level shinobi and even reincarnated legends were helpless before Six Paths Madara Uchiha, Might Guy opened all Eight Gates and momentarily pushed his physical power to a level that surpassed even the strongest ninjas on the battlefield, nearly kicking a god-tier enemy to death with the Night Guy technique. That moment alone made him unforgettable in ninja history.
Second… the Naruto mobile game from her previous life.
Back then, when Chinatsu played, Might Guy was basically a walking nightmare in the PvP arena. The moment his theme music started, the opponent's screen would turn red, blue, and then black followed by two or three ultimate combos. She'd glance at her HP bar… and it would already be gone. Completely erased.
And now…
That same background music was echoing in her mind again.
Chinatsu clicked her tongue, pressing a hand to her forehead as if trying to stop the memory from looping, while Might Guy in front of her jogged in place with terrifying enthusiasm then suddenly flipped into a handstand, doing push-ups upside down like gravity didn't exist.
"So? Have you decided? If you're tired, I can wait for you." Might Guy flashed his trademark bright smile, teeth sparkling like a Konoha billboard.
Normally, Chinatsu would have refused immediately.
But that line "I can wait for you" hit something in her competitive nerve.
"Oh? Tired? Then I'll do it. I also want to test my limits." Chinatsu exhaled, crossing her arms before loosening her shoulders.
"Great!" Might Guy's eyes lit up like a burning sun.
With a thud, he pushed off from the handstand and landed smoothly, immediately shifting into a runner's stance.
Chinatsu followed suit, chakra circulating through her body.
Lightning Release: Body Tempering.
Crackling arcs of electricity briefly danced over her skin, similar to Kumogakure's Lightning Release body enhancement techniques seen in elite shinobi. The technique increased neural response and muscle output through chakra stimulation.
Might Guy noticed instantly, his eyes widening with interest.
"Oh! Lightning Release enhancement!"
"Ready?" he asked.
"Of course."
"Then three… two… one GO!"
BOOM!
Both of them launched forward simultaneously.
Might Guy ran with pure taijutsu mastery, every step compressing the ground like spring-loaded steel. Chinatsu, using refined chakra control and ninja movement technique, matched his pace using a more fluid body flicker-assisted sprint.
But she wasn't falling behind.
"Oh? Impressive!" Guy laughed mid-run.
Then his expression sharpened.
One Gate… two Gates… three Gates
The Eight Inner Gates chakra limiters inside his body began unlocking in sequence. The first surge alone boosted his speed dramatically, distorting the air around him.
Chinatsu's eyes narrowed.
So this is the Eight Gates.
A forbidden taijutsu technique passed down from Might Dai, refined by Might Guy, known for bypassing chakra limitations entirely by forcibly releasing the body's internal restrictions. Each gate exponentially increases physical output at the cost of bodily damage.
Fast.
Too fast.
Even Sharingan-level reaction would struggle at higher gates.
Chinatsu's electricity intensified.
Lightning Release: Body Tempering pushed further, increasing neuromuscular response.
"You're still keeping up?" Guy shouted with excitement.
Chinatsu clicked her tongue again. "Don't underestimate me."
The streets of Konoha became a blur.
Residents only saw a green streak and a flickering black-blue lightning trail passing repeatedly like a distorted illusion. Some civilians later referred to it as "the ghost sprinting through the village."
The race continued far beyond five laps.
Morning turned into noon.
Neither of them stopped.
Eventually
BOOM.
Both landed in a clearing outside the main street, dust rising around them.
The result didn't really matter.
Everyone already knew the outcome: against Might Guy, few could win in pure physical endurance.
But something else was clear.
Chinatsu had lasted far longer than expected.
She lay on the ground, one hand on her chest, the other covering her forehead, breathing heavily.
Meanwhile, Might Guy stood upright, still energized, barely sweating.
"That felt amazing!" Guy said, laughing.
"…Yeah. It did." Chinatsu admitted honestly.
Her Lightning Release Body Tempering had increased efficiency, but more importantly, she noticed something unusual
Her recovery rate.
Her chakra and stamina were regenerating faster than expected, even while exhausted. A passive regenerative trait she hadn't fully understood before.
Interesting…
Might Guy looked down at her. "You're strong. What's your rank?"
"…Chunin."
"Chunin?" Guy blinked. "That's a waste!"
He crossed his arms seriously, then immediately realized her age and coughed.
"…Well, maybe not surprising."
Then his expression brightened again.
"Let's train every day!"
Chinatsu sighed. "I have two kids at home."
"Kids?" Guy tilted his head. "Training partners?"
"…Something like that."
Guy didn't fully understand, but nodded anyway.
"Wait here! I'll get something!"
He vanished instantly using pure taijutsu speed.
Chinatsu remained on the ground.
"This level of Eight Gates pressure… ten minutes max if pushed further." she muttered.
About several minutes later
WHOOSH!
Guy returned, holding a plastic bag like it was treasure.
"We're friends now! This is proof of youth!" he declared proudly, placing it beside her.
Chinatsu slowly turned her head.
A bright green outfit was inside.
"…I'm not wearing that."
Might Guy smiled confidently.
"It might not be my size… but youth always fits!"
