Lily searched fervently for the queen mother with tears in her eyes.
When she finally found her, she fell to her knees.
"Oh my! Lily what is wrong?"
"The king is to marry someone else and I wasn't told?"
"No no no my dear. The king is just a bit.... confused right now but he will have an heir by you"
Wiping her face, Lily asked "are you certain?"
"Yes I will make sure of it"
After soothing Lily, Queen Matilda escorted her outside to her carriage and bade her farewell as she left the palace.
As the carriage left the palace, Lily wiped her crocodile tears and bit her nails. She wasn't going to give up so easily.

Roshan weakly opened his eyes to see Zane and someone he didn't know.
He remembered something from one of his past lives and it hurt his head so much that he lost consciousness.
He was walking on the water with creepy smile on his face after completing a killing spree.
He stopped to stare at his reflection when it spoke back to him, "what are you looking at?"
Roshan gasped for air as he couldn't breathe any longer.
It seemed his past could affect him in real time. He was scared now. He didn't know what to do or who to tell.
Would he be cast out by Zane if he found out? He wouldn't be able to be of help to Delsgade and he'd be targeted by hunters and be killed.
Oh he wasn't going to tell anyone anything.
"Are you alright? What happened?" Zane's face was laced with worry.
"I'm alright now. I just felt lightheaded and I couldn't breathe" Roshan tried sitting up.
"Perhaps your blood isn't enough to supply your body with all it needs. You need to eat more fruit and vegetables " the man beside Zane spoke. He seemed to be a physician.
Roshan only nodded.
He was brought something fruity to eat almost instantly.
Zane sat there and fed him until he had eaten it all.
"You seem distracted. Are you in any pain? Is something wrong" Zane asked out of concern.
Roshan stared at Zane and reached out to hold and caress his cheek.
"I'm alright. I am" he believed he would be eventually.

A beggar who sat by the street suddenly stood up and limped his way through the crowd.
He walked and walked until he reached the deepest part of the forest and stopped before a tree.
"I'm alone. Come out"
He spoke to the tree but it didn't respond.
"I said I'm alone"
A fire ignited and burned the tree down, with an auburn-haired woman emerging from the flames.
The beggar dropped to his knees, "I didn't know you would be coming here yourself, my lady "
"I had to know myself what all the fuss was about between those two kingdoms. Speak."
"I have information on the reincarnation of the sorcerer"
The lady stared at the man bowing before her and a wicked smile appeared on her lips.
"He is a prince in one of the five kingdoms"
"Which one"
"Delsgade"
"Wonderful, you may leave"
The beggar got up and limped away in the direction of the town he came from.
The lady vanished into thin air.

Somewhere in Geomi,
"Our attacks on Delsgade and Vendet have been neutralized. Tell me you have new information for me ";the apparent king sitting on the throne spoke in a bored tone.
"The rumor of the sorcerer,my king. It's real"
"How do you mean?"
"The last prince of Delsgade is the reincarnation of the dreaded sorcerer. We can unite all the kingdoms to fight and kill him. That would destabilize Delsgade and attacking will be a piece of cake"
"And Vendet?"
"Oh my king!" Another subject woke up.
"Instead of giving you half information, I'll give you the complete one. The king of Delsgade apparently gave his last son to the king of Vendet as a symbol of their permanent alliance through marriage "
"So the sorcerer boy is in Vendet now?"
"Yes my king"
"Tch. It will be difficult to kill him if he's in Vendet "
There was silence in the hall.
"I heard the queen mother and his betrothed are against the union. Perhaps we can expose who he truly is to them and let them cast him out. Once that is done, we'll be able to kill him"
"That's a splendid idea. However, don't expose it to only the dowager queen. Tell the whole kingdom. Zane cannot fight every one of his people", The king spoke.

The rumor of the white haired sorcerer spread beyond the palace walls like wildfire throughout Vendet.
Meanwhile, Roshan was living in paradise with his love.
They were seated before a large window, pointing at whatever they saw outside and making comments. They laughed for some time, after which they cuddled.
The cuddles led to kisses, very deep kisses.
Zane was able to restrain himself but he wanted to go further very badly.
Zane wanted their first time together to be magical for Roshan and not in some random room.
There was a knock on the door and they separated from each other, leaving only their fingers interlaced.
"Come in" Zane said.
The door opened and shut shortly after.
It was Zane's personal guards, "I have something important to tell you my king"
Zane gave him a look and he blinked twice signifying that he couldn't say it in front of his master's lover.
"Give me one moment darling" Zane kissed Roshan's hand and forehead and followed the man out of the room.
Outside the room, Zane frowned.
