Queen Matilda went to the throne room to see her son.
Walking in, she saw Roshan seated comfortably on his lap, kissing him.
"You should knock next time mother" Zane said when he noticed her presence.
"The wedding you made an announcement for, it's to prince Roshan?"
"Yes, problem?"
Roshan frowned. What did she mean by that? He thought.
She huffed angrily and left.
"I have a question"
"Ask away, my love" Zane answered enthusiastically.
"Are you engaged or betrothed to another?"
"I was"
"Is it the girl your mother keeps hinting at that came to see her a little while back?"
"Yes, Lily"
"Did you break the engagement off?"
"Yes, something like that"
"Something like that" Roshan repeated. "So you didn't end it"
Roshan got down from Zane's lap.
"Wait, Roshan, I did. She's stubborn but that's not my problem"
Roshan stared his feet.
"May I be excused, my king?" Roshan's voice was detached.
Zane wanted to grab him and hold him close but he knew Roshan needed a moment alone for now.
"You may, I'll come find you later my love "
Roshan bowed and left.
Zane sighed deeply and sharply turned his head to the side.

Zane had ordered invitations to be sent to Delsgade alone. He didn't want to personally invite the other kingdoms planning to kill his lover into his home.
King Thames and Queen Roberta had received the invitation with surprise.
"He still wants to marry Ros?"
"The wedding is roughly in a week. We will be travelling soon then"
Roshan's brothers were all surprised that Roshan wasn't bundled and sent back in a sack after it was discovered that he was the sorcerer as the sorcerer was hated in every kingdom.

The wedding day had finally come and the palace looked like a beautiful metal garden. It was hard to get real plants so the benders had delicately formed colourful metal flowers and plants.
It was a breathtaking sight.
In Vendet, the people getting married would only be seen as they walked down the isle and not prior, so the royal family of Delsgade was seated after exchanging pleasantries with the royal family of Vendet, awaiting the ceremony.
The ceremony began with songs and dancing, followed by matrimony by the priests.
Roshan looked breathtaking. His white hair was tied up but it's length was still very visible. His clothes left a trail as he walked, with flowers on the ends.
"Do you take this young man to be your lawfully wedded spouse before the gods and the people. To cherish, love and respect. To protect, guide and shield for as long as you both may live?"
They both echoed a yes and there were cheers all over.
Roberta sobbed watching her beautiful her baby boy looked.
He looked so happy, standing by King Zane.
She wanted to come to Vendet, bundle him up and go home with him but seeing how his face lit up with King Zane, she knew her son was all grown up now.
Thames comforted her as he wiped the little tears that he also shed.
After the ceremony, the Delsgade royal family approached the couple and it became a family reunion. Roshan jumped up and down, hugging them all for as long as he could. He almost fell down at a point when Zane caught him and held onto him securely.
"Careful, baby" he said endearingly and Layel smirked.
"It seems our son is in great hands. Congratulations to the both of you" king Thames said.
"Thank you very much, father-in-law. Please enjoy the party, we have a lot to discuss later" Zane smiled with a small bow and left with Roshan.
"You look mesmerizing. Have I told you that?" Zane said as they walked away.
Roshan blushed and giggled. "Yes, you tell me all the time"
The party was over in no time and all the guests had retired to their various chambers in the palace.
Thames headed to Zane's study as directed by a guard.
Entering the study, Thames saw that Zane was seated.
Zane stood to acknowledge his presence and let him know he should sit.
"They're planning something"
Thames frowned heavily.
"They? I thought it was Geomi"
"It's Rostra, Aquira and Geomi now. They're training an army to kill the sorcerer"
"Gods!"
"I love Roshan and I would do anything for him. I will fight for him and protect him at all times. You need not worry. However, we do need to train your soldiers as well. As many hands as we can get will be helpful when the fight begins"
Thames nodded and that concluded the little discussion they were having.

Lily showed up the next day, smiling brightly. She believed her wedding was the next day.
She noticed the palace was already decorated and some of the decorations were even being taken down.
"What's happening here?" Lily asked one of the maids.
"We're taking down the decorations since the wedding is over "
"Wedding? Isn't it tomorrow?"
"It has already happened. Our new co-king Roshan is so beautiful. King Zane is lucky to have him"
"Him? King Zane married a man?"
"Y-yes"
Lily ran to Queen Matilda's quarters with teary eyes.
"My queen, I thought you said he would marry me? He married a man! That man!"
"I can't control him, dear. He did what he wished. He's king"
Lily cried and screamed before leaving the palace. she was heart broken.
Roshan saw her storm out of the palace and he felt bad for her, but it wasn't his fault either
