Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Rejected Omega

The night Luna was cast out… no one looked back.

Not her family.

Not her pack.

No one.

---

Cold wind howled through the forest as Luna stumbled forward, barefoot, her dress torn at the edges. The ground beneath her feet was rough, sharp—but she didn't stop.

She couldn't.

Because behind her…

Was no longer home.

---

"You are a disgrace to this pack."

Her father's voice echoed in her mind, cold and final.

"The Moon Goddess made a mistake creating you."

---

Luna's chest tightened.

She bit her lip, forcing the tears back.

No.

She wouldn't cry.

Not for them.

Not anymore.

---

From the day she was born, Luna was different.

While others shifted into powerful wolves at sixteen…

She never did.

No wolf.

No strength.

No place.

---

An Omega.

The weakest of them all.

---

"Useless."

"Burden."

"Waste of space."

---

The words followed her everywhere.

Until tonight.

The night they finally got rid of her.

---

"You will leave before sunrise," her father had said.

"If you stay… you die."

---

Luna clenched her fists as she walked deeper into the unknown forest.

"Fine," she whispered, her voice shaking but determined.

"I never needed you anyway."

---

But her heart…

Still hurt.

---

Hours passed.

The moon climbed higher.

And the forest grew darker.

---

Suddenly—

A sound.

---

Luna froze.

Leaves rustled nearby.

Low.

Heavy footsteps.

---

Not human.

---

Her breath hitched.

"W-Who's there?"

Silence.

Then—

A growl.

Deep.

Dangerous.

Predatory.

---

Her body went cold.

Because she knew that sound.

---

Rogue wolves.

---

"They found me…" she whispered.

---

Before she could run—

A massive black wolf emerged from the shadows.

Its eyes glowed golden, locked onto her like prey.

Then another.

And another.

---

Three of them.

Surrounding her.

---

Luna stepped back slowly, her heart pounding wildly.

"I… I don't want any trouble," she said weakly.

But they didn't care.

Rogues never did.

---

The first wolf lunged.

---

Luna shut her eyes—

Waiting for pain.

For death.

For it all to end.

---

But instead—

A roar tore through the forest.

---

Powerful.

Dominant.

Commanding.

---

The rogues froze mid-attack.

Whimpering.

Backing away.

---

Luna's eyes snapped open.

And then…

She saw him.

---

A figure stepped out of the darkness.

Tall.

Terrifying.

Wrapped in raw, dangerous energy.

---

His presence alone made the air feel heavy.

Unbearable.

---

The rogues lowered their heads instantly.

Submission.

Fear.

---

Alpha.

---

Luna's breath caught.

Because she knew exactly who he was.

Even before he spoke.

---

"Leave."

His voice was low. Deadly.

The rogues didn't hesitate.

They ran.

Disappeared into the night.

---

Silence fell again.

But it wasn't peaceful.

It was worse.

---

Because now…

He was looking at her.

---

Slowly, his eyes moved over her—cold, sharp, unreadable.

Like she was nothing.

Less than nothing.

---

Luna swallowed nervously.

"T-thank you…" she whispered.

---

He didn't respond.

Didn't move.

Didn't even blink.

---

Then—

He stepped closer.

---

Luna's heart started racing.

Every instinct inside her screamed one thing—

Danger.

---

And then it happened.

---

A sudden, burning sensation exploded in her chest.

Luna gasped, clutching her heart.

"W-what is this…?"

---

Her body trembled.

Her breath became uneven.

---

And then—

A voice.

Not outside.

But inside her.

---

Soft.

Ancient.

Unmistakable.

---

> "Mate…"

---

Luna's eyes widened in shock.

"No… that's not possible…"

---

Slowly—

Terrified—

She looked up at him.

---

And for the first time—

His expression changed.

---

His eyes darkened.

Jaw tightened.

---

Like he felt it too.

---

But instead of warmth…

Instead of acceptance…

There was only one thing in his gaze—

---

Hatred.

---

"You…" he said coldly.

His voice filled with disgust.

---

And then—

He spoke the words that shattered her completely—

---

> "You are not my mate."

---

Luna's world broke.

---

Because the bond didn't lie.

But he did.

---

And in that moment…

She realized—

-

She wasn't just rejected by her pack.

-

She was rejected by her own mate.

To be continued… 💔🔥
