She leaned closer once again.
This time, the warmth at the tip of her tongue traced a faint line along Kuro's back with a softness that almost resembled a serpent gliding along a long path filled with curiosity.
Kuro's body tensed slightly.
His brows furrowed faintly and shoulders reacted subtly to her treatment.
"You too…" he said, his voice heavier now. "You're just as naughty, aren't you?"
Tamamo smiled.
A small victorious smile.
Yet as though unwilling to lose their little game, Kuro's fingers—already moving among hidden petals—slowly wandered a little further, deeper into the secret garden guarded by foxfire.
His touch remained gentle, but this time slightly firmer, more deliberate, like a serpent intentionally seeking the most sensitive point of its own nest.
Tamamo's body jolted faintly.
"H-hhaah... hhhaa..."
Her breath caught for half a second.
Then returned, noticeably heavier.
Her eyelids slowly lowered halfway.
Nearly losing focus entirely.
The foxfire around them seemed to burn hotter. As though the flames were gradually consuming every final trace of ice remaining inside her.
"Master…"
Tamamo's voice came out softly, broken by uneven breaths.
"…if you keep playing like that…"
Her sentence trailed off.
Interrupted by breathing that had already grown unstable.
But her expression alone said more than enough.
Kuro smiled faintly.
"Just let go," he replied calmly. "There's no need to hold back."
The next instant, Tamamo's body reacted sharply.
Her shoulders and back arched slightly.
As though a warm spring had finally rediscovered the path back to its own source.
"H-hnggh..."
A long soft sound escaped her lips warm and trembling, like foxfire finally burning too brightly, consuming every last fragment of cold still hidden within her.
Tamamo slowly lowered her head against Kuro's shoulder.
Her breathing was a mess.
Her body still trembled faintly.
"…you're truly cruel, Master."
Yet the faint smile on her lips betrayed the opposite of her complaint.
Kuro let out another quiet laugh and briefly closed his eyes.
"I prefer to call it strategy," he said with almost proud confidence. "Not cunning or evil."
When he opened his eyes again, he caught a tiny detail that nearly escaped notice.
Tamamo's cheeks were slightly puffed.
Just barely.
Almost impossible to notice unless someone truly knew her well.
"That is merely the elegant version of the same word, Master," Tamamo replied softly.
Her voice sounded sweet, though it clearly carried a small protest.
That mischievous smile returned to her beautiful face.
"Besides…"
She tilted her head slightly.
"It feels unfair if I'm the only one being overwhelmed like this."
After saying that, Tamamo slipped down from the sofa and sat comfortably on the floor directly in front of Kuro.
Her movements were graceful, almost like a shrine fox preparing a small ritual of her own.
Her hands moved lightly, tracing over something previously hidden beneath layers of fabric and shadow.
Her gaze lifted.
Filled with confidence.
"Let this shrine fox girl join in as well," she murmured. "You'll surely be satisfied as always, Master."
Tamamo leaned closer slowly smooth, like a serpent that had found its favorite branch and decided to coil there comfortably.
Her movements looked simple, monoton, almost deceptively relaxed.
"Mmmm... mmmm... hngaah..."
Yet it was precisely that patience that gradually began breaking Kuro's focus.
His breathing grew slightly heavier.
His shoulders tensed faintly.
By reflex, Kuro's right hand lifted and gently rested atop Tamamo's head. His fingers slowly brushed through strands of pink hair.
As though willingly allowing Tamamo to take control of their little game for now.
Naturally, Tamamo noticed the subtle shift. The corners of her lips curled upward, slightly more satisfied.
She adjusted her rhythm gradually, becoming just a little bolder—like a small serpent exploring farther along a branch, savoring every tiny reaction she could provoke.
Kuro's body reacted faintly.
His fingers tightened slightly within Tamamo's hair, though still careful not to hurt her.
The foxfire filling the room seemed warmer now, gradually growing brighter like flames melting away traces of newly formed ice.
Not long after, Kuro let out a heavier breath.
A warm wave spread like sweet venom finally rediscovering its way home.
Tamamo merely smiled faintly.
Her gaze lifted briefly toward Kuro, carrying a small victory so characteristically hers.
Silence settled over the room once more.
Only the sound of their breathing remained—warm, soft, and far too familiar to require any further words.
After that warmth slowly faded, Tamamo deliberately remained close for a few moments longer, as if savoring the lingering heat that had yet to fully disappear.
Only then did she slowly pull away and return to her previous position, sitting directly in front of Kuro.
The tip of her tongue brushed lightly across her lips, as though still tasting something only she could truly understand.
A faint smile decorated her beautiful face.
"You still taste as rich as ever, darling."
Her tone sounded casual, yet clearly carried a deeper meaning beneath it.
Her arms lifted, wrapping lightly around Kuro's waist in a subtle possessive gesture.
Her gaze shifted slightly.
Sharper.
Hungrier.
Like a fox that had just tasted foxfire and realized she had no intention of stopping yet.
"And surely we don't want this to end so quickly, do we?"
Kuro let out a soft laugh.
A small smile formed on his face.
"One hundred points for the naughty fox," he said casually. "It seems the warm-up is finally over."
He tilted his head slightly.
"So, let's continue our little game."
At those words, Tamamo's fox ears—seemed to twitch faintly.
Her expression brightened.
There was a small excitement she couldn't quite hide.
Kuro's hands moved slowly, carefully adjusting Tamamo's position.
His movements were calm and familiar, like someone who understood the rhythm of the person before him all too well.
Never rushed.
Never aggressive.
Just steady.
And somehow, that was exactly what always managed to throw Tamamo's breathing into disarray.
"Hhaaa... haaah... haaah..."
The shrine fox's breaths grew uneven once more and her small shoulders trembled faintly.
Soft sounds once again filled the living room gentle, repeated and arm, like foxfire licking at dry wood little by little, allowing its heat to slowly build until every last trace of ice melted away without mercy.
Tamamo closed her eyes briefly.
Her cheeks grew even redder.
Yet her smile never fully disappeared.
"Master…" she murmured softly. "Don't blame me later if I become far too spoiled tonight."
"Weren't you always like this?" Kuro murmured softly. "Why say it now?"
He shifted to the side, causing the fox shrine maiden's knees to brush against the sofa, which suddenly felt far too narrow to contain the heat gathering between them.
His movements continued.
But this time, they were different.
Deeper, firmer—like a black serpent slowly coiling around its prey, leaving no room for calm breathing.
"Master—"
Tamamo's voice cut off mid-sentence.
"Hhaa... hhhh... hhh... hhh..."
Her breathing turned uneven, rising and falling without rhythm, as if the foxfire within her had begun to dance far too wildly to be restrained.
Her eyes widened slightly before gradually losing focus, her lids half-lowered with a hazy gaze slowly drifting upward, like someone being swallowed by a warm, endless mist.
Without realizing it, her tongue slipped out slightly, resembling a small serpent briefly emerging from its hiding place.
A faint smile curved on Kuro's lips.
He leaned closer, letting his lips linger near her ear before giving the tip a gentle bite.
The effect was immediate.
Llike a drop of oil cast into a foxfire already too fierce to extinguish.
Tamamo's body tensed.
The heat spread even wilder now, like pale flames slowly melting away the last fragile layer of ice.
Then, in the very next moment—Kuro pressed further.
As though finding an empty chalice long waiting to be filled, he poured warmth into it mercilessly—too much, too full, until there was no space left to contain it.
The foxfire finally burst at its highest peak.
Burning through Tamamo's awareness in a golden light far too bright to face directly.
Her body went completely limp, capable only of accepting that wave of warmth in silence.
Meanwhile, Kuro remained quiet.
Letting that warmth continue to flow at an unhurried pace, almost cruel in its calmness.
Like a serpent that had already coiled around its prey, only to stay still… savoring the lingering heat still pulsing within its embrace.
Tamamo breathed heavily.
Her body still trembling slightly.
Yet between those uneven breaths, a small smile still lingered on her lips.
"…you truly know how to make a fox fall even deeper, Master."
