Chapter 179 - 179

"Me?"

Fenris raised an eyebrow in surprise, then turned toward the newcomer.

He was tall and powerfully built. His ordinary short-sleeved shirt and pants were stretched high by his developed muscles, somehow giving the plain outfit the air of a male model's clothes.

His long blond hair hung loosely around him, and he had a blond beard across his face. Perhaps because he had run such a long distance, he looked somewhat disheveled, but his eyes were extraordinarily bright.

Fenris released the life-sensing ability unique to a Titan and clearly detected the immense vitality hidden inside him. It far surpassed that of ordinary humans on Earth by more than several times.

"Thor?"

Combined with the obvious Bifrost phenomenon just now, the identity of the man before him was naturally obvious to Fenris.

After briefly reassuring Wanda and Emma, he slowly stepped forward to the edge of the road and looked at Thor from afar. "Asgardian?"

"Why are you calling me an evil god?"

Although he had taken quite a few benefits from Mephisto and Dormammu, he was not some evil god like Thor claimed, was he?

Judging from Thor's current appearance, he had just been banished. He might even have been slammed by a car, and before he had even had time to familiarize himself with his surroundings, he had already rushed here without stopping.

He knows Asgard?

Thor was now certain that Odin had exiled him to some remote place within the Nine Realms.

Jane and the others from earlier had not even been able to say which realm they were in, yet this young man could immediately identify his origins. Clearly, he was knowledgeable, not some ordinary host of dark energy.

At that thought, Thor's eyes flicked toward the sky almost imperceptibly.

He was definitely not this person's match right now. But Heimdall—and perhaps Odin himself—might be watching him at this very moment. If he performed well enough, perhaps he could make Odin change his mind and end his exile.

As for the evil god before him—

All-Father Odin would never allow an evil god who could grow to threaten Asgard to continue existing. Wasn't Mephisto, powerful as he was, still afraid to openly appear on Earth?

After giving himself that reassurance, Thor abruptly raised his head. His gaze instantly became firm, and he boldly took several determined steps forward.

"You bear such dense and powerful dark energy. Its purity is no lower than that of those extradimensional lords. I could smell it from so far away. What is there left for you to deny?"

Thor looked at Fenris not far away and could not help straightening his back. As he spoke, his courage grew.

"Since you know of Asgard's existence, you should understand this. All-Father Odin will never allow a threat like you to continue growing or existing."

"I, Thor Odinson, son of All-Father Odin, heir to Asgard, and God of Thunder, issue you this final ultimatum."

"Give up resisting. Obediently submit to Asgard's supervision. If you surrender peacefully, I will plead with my father on your behalf and purify the evil power from your body."

"After you reform yourself, we will guide you into becoming a true god."

As Thor spoke, he did not forget to stare closely at Fenris, carefully observing the changes in his expression.

After a thousand years of warfare, Thor's battle instincts were naturally not low. He knew he had no power to contend with the other man. If the situation turned wrong and Asgard's name failed to intimidate him, Thor would immediately turn and run without hesitation.

"Odin, Thor, Asgard?"

Hearing this, Wanda and Emma exchanged a glance.

Those were all things from the storybooks they had read as children. Yet now someone was standing in front of them, claiming he was the legendary God of Thunder?

Fenris looked Thor up and down, clearly taking in the slight trembling of his legs.

Since Thor had appeared here, the mighty power in his body had already been stripped away by Odin. In other words, he was now nothing but an empty shell, using Odin's reputation as a banner to bluff.

And even like this, he dared to throw his weight around in front of Fenris?

Noticing how Thor's gaze kept drifting toward the sky, Fenris paused. Then he understood what Thor was thinking, and he could not help laughing with interest.

This Thor was reckless, yes, but it seemed he was not truly stupid.

After all, how could Odin simply watch his own child die on Earth?

"What are you laughing at?"

Their eyes met by chance. Fenris's gaze seemed to pierce straight through Thor, making Thor instinctively sense that something was wrong. His feet also began to move backward unconsciously.

"Thor, God of Thunder?"

Fenris shifted his foot slightly. Before his words had even finished, his entire body vanished from Thor's sight.

Just as Thor's heart jolted and he realized something was wrong, turning to run, he saw that Fenris had appeared in front of him at some point, smiling at him.

"Are these the dark energies you were talking about?"

The powers from the Dark Dimension and Hell surfaced in Fenris's palms. Looking at the black and purple orbs of light so close in front of him, and sensing the incomparably pure aura on them, Thor's pupils abruptly shrank. He retreated several steps in shock.

However, the next moment, all of those powers merged back into Fenris's body.

Thor saw several shallow cracks suddenly open across the young man's skin, only to disappear completely a moment later.

He can actually bear two kinds of dark divine power at the same time?

It was like seeing a person simultaneously carry both his and Loki's divine powers. Anyone else would be easily torn apart by the two powers, yet this man had only suffered a few minor wounds, and had recovered so quickly from the conflict between them?

Such an impossible thing was happening right before his eyes. Thor was dumbstruck, and even his retreating steps slowed. He whispered, "No. Impossible. You're bearing two powerful evil divine powers at once. How can you still be alive?"

"Look again."

Fenris smiled faintly, and the power of Mothra inside him was drawn out.

The next moment, radiant seven-colored light shone from his body. Energy waves imbued with the will of protection and light reached toward Thor.

"A third divine power?!"

The instant the seven-colored radiance lit up, Thor's eyes widened. He rubbed them desperately, almost unable to believe what he was seeing.

"How could an evil god possibly receive the recognition of this kind of divine power?"

He suddenly looked at Fenris, only to see the other man watching him with a smile. Meeting Fenris's clear eyes, Thor froze.

"You're not an evil god?"

"I'm human. I'm not some inexplicable god, and I have no interest in becoming one."

Seeing that Thor had finally reacted, Fenris curled his lip. "Go back wherever you came from, God of Thunder, Prince of Asgard."

As he spoke, Fenris leisurely brushed past Thor. After casually patting him on the shoulder, he walked toward his little refuge.

"No!"

Sensing that Fenris had no malice, Thor abruptly snapped out of his daze. Watching Fenris walk farther away, he gritted his teeth and charged straight toward him.

"Don't go!"

"Help me!"

"Stop!"

Before Thor's outstretched hand could touch Fenris, he suddenly felt his body tighten. Scarlet filled his vision in the blink of an eye, and a powerful binding force locked his movements firmly in place.

"What?"

Thor's heart lurched. The force binding him suddenly tightened, and the bones throughout his body immediately began to let out sharp grinding sounds.

Agony surged through him. Thor could not control the low growl that escaped his throat. He abruptly raised his head, only to meet a pair of bewitching scarlet eyes.

"What are you trying to do to him?"
