The sun is rising ,oh god its sunday again .most people like a good holiday to chill and relax but i hate it whole heartedly. Yep, i hate it. I am luna ,25 years old. A struggler and a jobless girl , who is currently living in my step brothers house . I hate him , adrain my brother is 27 years old . Tragically , my mom fell in love with her father after my biological father cheated on her and left her with me . She married a wealthy man , a mafia don who is the king of fears . Althought our life was filled with richness and we had everything we could dream of. I still miss my old days where i could had simple meal and just me and mom . Time is very strange , it changes when we expect the least. I glance at my alarm clock on my side table its 9 o'clock in the morning. Well , for me its as good as three in afternoon ,being a jobless has its advantages of waking whenever you want. I finally climb out of bed and pick my cell phone up from where it is ,underneath my pillow , went downstairs towards the kitchen. Its literally ridiculously big and luxurious , you name it . It have everything a girl can dream. I make my way to the pantry its always stocked . I make myself onion omelette and toast a piece of bread , and a cup of coffee . Yummy my favourite meal of the day. I sit at the dinner table as i eat my breakfast . After finishing my breakfast i went upstairs took shower and wear my beautifull simple blue jeans and white shirt . And dried my hairs. I have beautifull curly golden hairs and hazel eyes thanks to my parents genetics. I went downstairs to find my elder step brother adrain. I knocked his study room
Knock knock... "hello? Brother may i come in?" I ask , a deep voice comes from behind the door " come in" i went in my elder brother sits in his leather chair behind the desk drinking coffee while looking at the laptop . I sigh he is always like this busy and boring , i sit at the couch , and look at him" brother i ...i think i will take your offer . I do want a job and well...i can't happen to find one . Can i start working at your company? I will work hard i promise." I say hopefully, he look up at me finally acknowledging i am here , and say in a voice calm and devoid of any warmth " yes you can " i nod because i know he won't be saying big sentences or anything just a simple 'yes'. I noded and exist from the study , i called my bestfriend kiara . She is about my age and we are besties since childhood she is like my rock to lean on my only emotional support. I call her , she picks at the second ring" hey babygirl" i say softly as her beautifull loud voice greets me" come on dude spill the beans , did your demon brother agreed or not?" She asks ,i chuckle she knows how much i dislike my brother , " yep i asked him and he said' yes ,you can' , god girl i am so happy i will finally be having my own god dam job ! " i say excitedly as i keep walking towards the garden there is my favourite spot the swing , i sit on it letting it sway gently as i talk to kaira" girl ! We need to celebrate your job tonight ,be ready at 10 o'clock ,we will go to the club and have one hell of a night " she says as excited as me. I smile . Already imagining the poud music dim lights .i sigh" fine i will be ready" i say to her ." Good for you ,and wear something sexy , tonight might be lucky for us" she whispers in a sexy tone and i burst in laughter. She and her manic plans. I shake my head smiling " ok ,byeee" i say as i hand up . I walk back to my bedroom, open my closet now all i have to do is decide what the hell am i suppose to wear tonight. I look for half an hour and give up nah this stuff is not at all sexy i need something flavourfull. Hmm. I grab my wallet and phone and went downstairs and to study room again knocked twice than opened the door and said" i am going to shopping and i need your credit card , and i will be going out tonight with kiara at the club" i say in rush . ,he looked up from his laptop .god his cold look sucks. He stood from his seat and came towards me . I know that look . Well luna guess what be ready for a lecture. " how many times do i need to tell you . You should behave like an adult,luna . Partying will take you nowhere tonight you will stay at home and i will guide you for basics and tomorrow you will go to office and handle our company. Blood sister or not you are my sister .so i don't want to hear any more irrelevant excuses . " he says sternly. I sigh " ok ,atleast let me go to shop up. I am bored and i need something good to wear tomorrow " i say. ,he looks at me for a moment than took out his expensive looking wallet and hand me his card" do not waste my money on stupid things" i says in his 'don't mess with me' tone. I nod. And turn around and walked away. I tell the driver to take me to a boutique . I sit at the back seat of our BLACK Mercedes. I stare out of window our home city is too busy and dangerous city. Where five families dominant our family GAMBINO crime family which is one of the five largest mafia familes , is lead by my brother adrain gambina. My mother and my step father had dead in a car accident five years ago , at 20 years old. I started to live with adrain and moved in with him for security reasons. Being related to a crime faimly even if they are just your legal family . You are always in danger. Even if i think right now i am just simply in a Mercedes with my driver . Sub consciously i know how many guard cars are right behind us.
