Chapter 299 - Chapter Two Hundred Ninety-Nine: Why Not Go Fishing?

After the race ended, Fujiwara Chiya gave himself three days off.

The day after receiving the tickets, he took his uma musume to Tokyo Amusement Park. The enormous amusement park had only a few hundred visitors scattered throughout it. There were more staff members than guests. Even after playing for an entire day, they only managed to experience less than half of the attractions.

Gold Ship went completely wild, throwing an arm around his shoulders and shouting "Banzai!"

Gold Ship, honestly, maybe being an uma musume is wasted on you. You'd be better off as my sworn brother.

The others were also full of excitement. After all, this was everyone's first time visiting a place like this. Rice Shower had the most exaggerated reaction. She sat on Fujiwara Chiya's shoulders, and her excited cries of "Onii-sama!" never stopped.

This place fulfilled every fantasy she had about amusement parks.

The only one who acted differently was Mejiro Dober. It was as if she was avoiding someone. She stayed beside Meisho Doto the whole time and did not immediately come over to hold Shirayuki's hand like before.

Was she still holding something in her heart because of the race?

Or was it because of yesterday?

Fujiwara Chiya could not be sure.

He would talk to her again when there was time. If it was about the race, Fujiwara Chiya had already said that an uma musume had to charge forward without hesitation. Rather than regretting a past race, she should look toward the future. There were still many more famous GⅠ races waiting for her to fight for.

If it was the other matter, Fujiwara Chiya still had not figured out how he should respond.

After being dragged around by Gold Ship for an entire day, Fujiwara Chiya's body felt soft and weak the next morning. He did not even have the strength to get out of bed.

Knock, knock, knock.

A series of knocks sounded from outside the door.

Fujiwara Chiya yawned, then got out of bed listlessly. When he opened the door, he saw Seiun Sky standing there with a sly grin on her face.

"Uwah? Trainer-san still hasn't gotten up? Did you turn into a little lazy cat? Even lazier than Sky-chan."

"What virtue or ability do I have to compare myself with you? What's wrong? Why'd you suddenly come here?"

"Trainer-san shouldn't have anything scheduled today, right?"

Seiun Sky walked into the room on her own and took off her shoes. Fujiwara Chiya did not stop her. After she entered, he closed the door.

"No."

"Then how about going out with me?"

As she spoke, Seiun Sky walked to his bed, sat down, then flopped onto it. The bedding still carried Fujiwara Chiya's scent.

"Didn't Sky-chan say last time that there was a very good place for fishing over there? Let's go there today. Sky-chan already prepared the fishing gear."

"Fishing, huh…"

Fujiwara Chiya thought about it for a moment. Originally, he had taken these rest days to relax, but going to the amusement park had instead made him even more exhausted.

A relaxing activity like fishing suited him much better.

Thinking that, Fujiwara Chiya nodded.

"All right. Let's go take a look."

Seiun Sky did not answer him. The tail that had been swaying earlier also drooped.

"Sky? Hey… Did you fall asleep!?"

This girl had fallen asleep on his blanket in less than four seconds.

You didn't come here to invite me out. You came here to sleep, didn't you?

If you want to sleep, go back to your own room.

Fujiwara Chiya rubbed her face, but Seiun Sky slept like the dead. No matter how Fujiwara Chiya messed with her, she did not wake up. At that moment, Fujiwara Chiya remembered the promise Seiun Sky had once made to him.

When she was asleep, he could do whatever he wanted to her.

"If you still don't wake up, I'm going to draw on your face."

Of course, there was still no response. This girl was the kind of existence who could fall asleep even in the middle of a noisy audience stand.

However, Fujiwara Chiya knew her weakness.

One touch there, and she would not be able to bear it.

Fujiwara Chiya held one of her small feet and pressed against the sole. Seiun Sky's body trembled violently, but soon returned to calm.

This still doesn't wake her up?

An uma musume's feet were the most sensitive part of her entire body. If an outsider touched them, she would hardly be able to endure it.

Fujiwara Chiya had touched Rice Shower's before, and at that time, her face had gone so red it looked like water might drip from it. Of course, he had also touched Shirayuki's, and that had been equally heart-stirring.

If he dared to do this to an uma musume he was not close to, he would absolutely be kicked in the face with leg strength weighing several tons. Even a superhuman would lose half his life.

But Seiun Sky was different.

How should he describe his relationship with Seiun Sky? The two of them both said they were friends, but it felt a little more intimate than that. Yet they were not exactly trainer and uma musume either.

In any case, it was a very good relationship, just one he did not know how to describe.

Now that I'm looking properly, Sky's feet are really small.

Fujiwara Chiya could completely hold one with a single hand. It was also trembling slightly, and there was even a faint pleasant scent. Was that the scent of her socks?

Fujiwara Chiya suddenly noticed Seiun Sky open one eye, then quickly close it again.

"You've been awake this whole time!"

"I got found out."

Seiun Sky scratched her head and sat up. Fujiwara Chiya also let go of her foot.

"Do you know, Trainer-san? An uma musume's feet are the most important part of her whole body."

"Of course I know."

"So when an uma musume allows you to touch her feet, it means she trusts you very much."

"Hah… In other words, you trust me a lot."

"Of course. Trainer-san is one of the only two people Sky-chan trusts at Tracen."

"And who's the other one?"

"Shirayuki, obviously."

"I see…"

"So, since Sky-chan trusts Trainer-san this much, doesn't Trainer-san plan to do something?"

"Do something?"

Fujiwara Chiya thought about it. Since she had deliberately mentioned feet…

"Don't tell me you want me to help you put on your shoes?"

Seiun Sky fell silent for a moment.

"That's right."

She smiled.

"Help Sky-chan put on her shoes. This is a privilege reserved only for the person I trust most, so you'd better accept it properly, Trainer-san."

"Am I supposed to call you Ojou-sama too, then greet you respectfully morning and night?"

"Ojou-sama sounds too distant. Just call me Sky. But morning and night greetings are fine. We can send each other messages."

Morning and night messages, huh.

Right now, I just want to smack your butt!

Even so, Fujiwara Chiya still helped her put on her shoes in the end. Kneeling on the floor, he picked up her leather outdoor boots and slipped them onto Seiun Sky's feet.

During the whole process, Seiun Sky kept watching him. He had no idea what she was thinking.

"All right. Let's go."

Hearing Fujiwara Chiya's words, Seiun Sky seemed to finally come back to herself. A smile returned to her face.

"Trainer-san, do you still have the bait I gave you?"

"It's all under the bed."

"Let me look for it… Ah, here it is. You even wrote names on them. Were you afraid you'd forget?"

"My memory isn't that good."

"If your memory is bad, Sky-chan can remind you."

Seiun Sky crawled out from under the bed, and Fujiwara Chiya patted the bits of wood dust stuck to the top of her head.

"Oh right. If we're going fishing, don't we need to prepare lunch boxes? We might not come back by noon."

Fujiwara Chiya remembered the last time he went out with her. They had not brought food, so the two of them had directly grilled and eaten the fish they caught.

"Hehe~ Sky-chan already prepared them."

She packed the bait into a bag, then took Fujiwara Chiya's hand.

"Let's go, Trainer-san. Fishing takes a long time, but the process of waiting for the fish to bite is quite interesting."

Looking at Seiun Sky leaning beside him, Fujiwara Chiya nodded.

"Yeah. You're right."
