The word "together" hung in the air. Astra's head was a heavy weight on my shoulder, but it was the good kind of heavy, the kind that kept you from floating away into the crazy bullshit your own life had become.
"Adrian," she whispered, her voice thick with something I couldn't name. "Show me what 'together' feels like."
I leaned in and kissed her. It was slow, not like the frantic mess in the dungeon. Her lips were soft, and they parted, letting me in. My hand went to the back of her neck, tangling in her hair. She sighed, a sound that meant she was done fighting it.
"Master?" Reika's sleepy voice cut through the moment. I looked over. She was awake, watching us with a grin that promised trouble. She crawled over, pressing herself against Astra's back. "Reika wants to feel 'together' too," she purred, her hands already sliding around Astra's waist.
