Our world wasn't always like this.
That's what the old people say, anyway. They tell stories about a time before the black fog covered everything, before the chains, before the King.
Stories about strange things we've never seen.
They talk about a yellow ball that used to float far above us, glowing so bright it could light up the whole world. They say it brought warmth and life. But none of us have seen it. We don't even know what "warmth" really feels like.
Some of them also talk about a blue sea—not the dark water we know now, but a bright blue one that floated up, not down. They say it stretched across the world, wide and endless.
But these are just stories.
Rumors passed down by grandparents who barely remember themselves.
All we know for sure is this:
Sector 101 is trapped in darkness, and we are slaves to the King.
But it didn't start this way.
A long time ago, the Search Force found something strange—a small box buried deep underground. Inside the box were thirteen rings, glowing weakly, like they were alive. The town leaders thought they were dangerous, so they locked them up immediately.
Everyone agreed.
Except one man.
Collins.
A Search Force member.
The first to touch the rings.
And the one who wanted all the glory for finding them.
He stole the rings, hoping to claim their discovery for himself. But the Council caught him and banished him from Sector 101. No one knew he had hidden two rings before he was thrown out.
He wandered alone, angry and desperate.
And then he made the mistake that ended our world.
He wore one of the rings.
The ring twisted his body and mind. It changed him into something powerful… and completely evil. He was no longer Collins.
He became the King.
With his new powers, he created creatures—dark devils that obeyed him without question. Then he returned to Sector 101—the black fog spread. People were captured. The world fell.
The remaining eleven rings disappeared the same day.
No one knows where they went.
Some say they were taken.
Some say they hid or fled.
Now we live in darkness and chains…
But some of us still hope the rumors are true.
That the yellow ball is real.
That the blue sea in the sky was real.
And that someday…
We might see them for ourselves.
