Chapter 59 - Chapter 59: The Weaver of Reality

The shimmering opal sky of Libertas began to pulse with a low, rhythmic vibration. It wasn't a warning, but a heartbeat—the heartbeat of the world itself. In the center of the silver-glass forest, Kira and Elara stood before the massive Pillar of Light, watching as threads of liquid silver began to weave together in the air.

"He's trying to manifest," Elara whispered, her eyes wide with awe. "The energy required to hold a physical form in a newly rebooted world is immense. Caelum is pushing the limits of the server again."

As the silver threads spun faster, a silhouette began to take shape. It wasn't the battle-scarred warrior they remembered. This form was taller, glowing with a translucent light, and around his head floated a ring of shifting binary codes—a halo of the Glitch King.

However, the manifestation was suddenly interrupted. A bolt of jagged, red lightning struck the sky, tearing a hole through the opal clouds.

"The Sector Zero Breach!" Kira shouted, drawing her daggers.

From the red tear in the sky, thousands of small, black beetles made of pure 'Deletion Code' began to pour out. They weren't attacking the people; they were eating the reality of Libertas, turning the silver trees back into gray, dead pixels.

"Not... yet..." Caelum's voice echoed, sounding like a thousand whispers at once.

The unfinished silhouette of Caelum raised a hand. Even without a full body, his authority was absolute. The ground beneath the beetles turned into a massive digital maw, swallowing the parasites whole.

The breach in the sky closed, but the silhouette of Caelum flickered and vanished, unable to maintain its form after the attack. Only a small, glowing silver stone fell from the air, landing in Kira's hands.

"He can't come back yet," Elara said, looking at the stone. "The 'Oversight' is still blocking his return from the other side of the gate. We have to find the key to Sector Zero."

Kira gripped the silver stone. It was warm, pulsing with Caelum's signature. "Then we stop waiting for him to save us. We go to him."
