The void around me began to tremble.
The shadow entity that called itself Primordial Darkness had vanished without a trace, destroyed by my own hands.
Inside my chest, three fundamental powers Red, Blue, and Green surged violently.
RGB. The three colors no longer rejected one another. Instead, they merged together, creating an endless spectrum of energy.
Yet alongside that absolute power, the burning sensation inside my chest slowly changed.
It was no longer pain. It was hunger.
A thirst so agonizing and deadly.
A hunger for power, a hunger for glory, a hunger to seize everything.
The whispers of darkness inside my head told me not merely to uphold the world, but to rule over it absolutely.
I grinned widely. Slowly, that power began to consume my sanity.
I shattered the dimension and returned to the headquarters in the blink of an eye.
Before me, my four pawns stood waiting.
Without saying much, I divided fragments of the RGB energy into their bodies, strengthening their weapons and physical limits until they touched the realm of gods, while engraving one absolute technique into their minds: Domain.
I looked at them with eyes now shining in three colors.
"Go. Destroy this entire world. Leave nothing behind."
...
I never doubted his orders.
He was the one who gave me a place and a purpose.
If our Master commanded this world to end, then my duty was to ensure it happened efficiently.
I stood atop the tallest skyscraper in the center of the city.
In my hand flowed the absolute power of Yggdrasil, dominion over time itself.
Below me, the city's military forces launched thousands of missiles in my direction.
I looked down at them coldly. Without emotion.
I drew my bow.
"Dome manifestion: Zero Time."
The sky suddenly faded into a pale golden hue.
Time around me froze.
I released a single arrow pulsing with energy into the center of the military formation.
The moment the arrow struck the ground, a wave of time burst outward in every direction.
Those caught in the wave did not die from physical wounds.
Their bodies began to shrink, becoming younger, turning into children, then infants, until finally... they faded into nothingness.
The time of their lives was reversed at terrifying speed, all the way back to the point where they had never even been born.
To me, loyalty was everything.
...
"Forgive me... sob... please forgive me..."
Tears streamed endlessly down my face. I looked below, toward the crowded city filled with elderly people, children, and families running in panic.
I did not want to do this, but the absolute command inside my head left me no room to refuse.
I raised Excalibur high into the air.
"Dome manifestion: EARTH."
Instantly, the city below became distorted. Steel buildings collapsed, replaced by colossal mountains and endless stretches of land that swallowed every structure and civilization whole. But it was not over yet.
I looked up at the sky while continuing to sob uncontrollably.
Within the heavens of my domain, hundreds of thousands of gigantic crimson meteors covered all sunlight.
I swung my sword downward.
The countless meteors crashed into the earth mercilessly, erasing every scream.
I fell to my knees amidst the destruction, covering my ears tightly.
"Forgive me... forgive me..." I cried in the middle of the apocalypse I had created with my own hands.
...
Fragments of RGB energy flowed through the blade of my scythe, transforming it into a dimension-splitting weapon.
I now possessed Domain: SPACE, a vacuum realm where I could summon an entire solar system ecosystem. But all this godlike power meant nothing now.
Each of my footsteps felt as though they were dragging the weight of thousands of tons as I arrived before that small flower shop.
Mika was sweeping the front yard, her smile as bright as ever.
"Scyte! You're here this ear—"
Her words stopped the moment she saw the deadly aura surrounding me. My hands trembled violently until I bit my lower lip hard enough to draw blood.
If I didn't do it myself, the others would destroy her in a far crueler way.
"Mika..." I called out hoarsely.
"I'm sorry..."
In a single instant, I swung my scythe.
It was unbelievably fast. I severed her central nervous system before her brain could even process the pain.
Mika collapsed, and I immediately caught her body. Her eyes slowly closed as though she had merely fallen into a deep sleep.
My divine scythe fell to the ground. I cradled the body of the girl I loved most in this world while the streets around us began to collapse. My cries erupted into desperate howls of despair.
...
I stood in the middle of a city reduced to ruins.
My weapon could now absorb limitless energy. But I did not even need to use it.
"Dome manifestion: Pure Combat."
Around me, space became isolated. Anyone who entered my domain automatically lost the ability to use techniques, weapons, or any kind of energy.
They were forced to fight me barehanded until death.
People charged toward me in panic.
I swung my axe.
Ribs shattered, skulls crushed. Blood drenched both my hands. I was forced to destroy everything before me; crying children, desperate adults, even helpless elders.
We never truly agreed with any of this.
Deep within our hearts, we hated it.
But we had no choice.
No Name had given us everything in our lives. This debt of life had to be repaid with the life of the entire world.
I stared at my hands covered in fresh blood, allowing corpses to pile around my feet.
"There is no happy ending."
