Chapter 2 - Chapter 1: The Dreamer

In a quiet village where life moved slowly like the gentle river flowing beside it, there lived a boy named Aarav. The mornings there began with the sound of birds chirping, cows mooing, and women drawing water from wells. It was a place where nothing ever seemed to change.

But Aarav was not like the others.

While boys of his age spent their afternoons playing cricket or flying kites, Aarav often wandered alone. He would climb the small hill behind his house and sit there for hours, staring at the horizon where the sky met the earth.

To others, it was just a line.

To Aarav, it was a mystery.

He would often whisper to himself,

"What's beyond that line? Is there another village? Another world? Or something no one has ever seen?"

His mother would call out,

"Aarav! Come down! Stop daydreaming all the time!"

Reluctantly, he would return—but his thoughts never did.

In school, things weren't much different. While the teacher explained lessons, Aarav would drift into his own world.

One day, during a science class, he suddenly raised his hand.

"Yes, Aarav?" the teacher asked.

"Sir… what is beyond space?"

The class burst into laughter.

The teacher paused, surprised. He didn't have an immediate answer.

"Focus on your syllabus," he said finally.

But one teacher, Mr. Sharma, noticed something.

After class, he called Aarav.

"You don't just study… you think," he said.

Aarav looked down, unsure if it was a compliment.

"Listen carefully," Mr. Sharma continued,

"People like you either change the world… or get lost in it. It depends on whether you follow your curiosity or run away from it."

Aarav didn't fully understand those words then.

But they planted a seed in his heart.
