In a small village, there lived a poor farmer named Ramu. He didn't have much land, but he was very hardworking and honest. Every morning, before the sun rose, he would go to his fields and start working.
One year, a severe drought hit the village. There was no rain, and the crops began to dry up. Most farmers lost hope and stopped working in their fields. But Ramu did not give up. He thought, "If I keep trying, something good will surely happen."
Every day, Ramu went to his field, took care of the soil, and carried water from a well to keep his plants alive. People laughed at him and said, "There's no rain, all this effort is useless." But Ramu ignored them and continued his hard work.
After some days, the weather suddenly changed, and it rained heavily. The fields of other farmers were empty because they had stopped working. But Ramu's field still had crops, and they slowly turned green and healthy.
When the harvest season came, Ramu had a good yield. With his hard work, he not only supported his family but also helped the needy people in his village.
Moral:
Hard work and patience never go to waste. Never give up, even in difficult times.
