Kyle woke up feeling sore all over. There was a slight sting on his chest where the wolf had dug his claws. He looked down and saw he was wrapped in bamdages all over.
'who..no, why would they help me??' he thought his mind confused at them helping him. He didn't know them and he was sure hey didn't know him and if they did they would rather kill um themselves than let the wolves do it.
"ohh looks like your awake.We barely made it in time kid. If we came a second late you would be no more." a man built like a mountain said. He had a hammer bigger than Kyle strapped on his back.
Kyle looked at him searching his face for any type of lie or disgust but couldn't find any. The man's concern was real.
"W-why did you save me? YIU don't know me so why go out of your way?" Kyle asked. No one ever looked at him twice let alone save him. The man caught off guard by the question turned looked at him seeing the confusion in his eyes then suddenly
"Hahahaha-" he burst out laughing.
"Hey y'all come listen to this kid," he said wiping the tears that were forming at the corner of his eyes.
Two more people appeared. One was a woman green hair with deep black eyes. She was beautiful. Her body had curves all at the right places. She had a gentle smile on her face as she looked at Kyle. The other was a young man , probably in his 30s. he had deep blue hair covering half his face. His expression was blank staring at Kyle then went back to sharpen his sword.
"Leave the kid be Ren," the girl said. "You know you can't tell what he went through to be out here by his own.Bet he doesn't know where he is going or is just lost. and he's ok to be cautious haven't you heard don't trust strangers or are you that dumb?" she asked in a sarcastic voice.
"Come on Mira, look at him. He is serious asking me why I didn't let the wolves eat him. Instead he should thank me for helping him don't you think." the mountain, Ren said looking at Mira.
"Anyway," Mira said " I am Mira, the bear beside you is Ren. As dumb as he is he is the leader of this group. He is a tier 5 Marked and I am a tier 4. The silent one over there is Aaron. We are going to Gilbizard kingdom and looking at you I can bet you are going there so you can enrol in their academy. I hear they are accepting foreigners." Mira said looking at Kyle.
Kyle who had no idea what she was taking about just nodded. He was surprised Ren was a tier 5 Marked. His demenour didn't match his strength.
"Kyle. " he said.
" well Kyle you need to rest because we leave at dawn. " with that they both left him to get some rest but Kyle head was far from rest.
On the side of the of his vision something was blinking. Then with a thought it expanded.

kyle read the panel silently. He noticed that the others couldn't see it as it was right infront of him yet they were oblivious to it.
'what are you?' he asked inwardly.
and with a slight 'ding' it responded.
'i am the void nexus and I am here to assist you to become the next void master in the universe. I help you get to your peak at a cost which you will learn later. Once I had bonded with you we became one. '
'So what your saying is you have something you need me to do but can't tell me and I have no choice but to follow you. What if I refuse?"
'If you refuse I will detach myself from you. Your talent will fall back to tier three and I will not be seen again. I will erase any trace if me from your mind and you'll go back to being yourself. '
the nexus answered calmly. Kyle thought about it and knew he was actually gaining more. His talent has increased from tier 3 to mythical and also he now has a way to make them all pay.
' So what exactly are you?' he asked
after a brief silence the nexus answered.
' I am the last resort of the broken swordsman.'
It's voice carrying a hint if sorrow as he said that last words.
' Who us the broken swordsman and how can I help him. I am not a swordsman as you can see. I am a mage with the worst kind of marks possible. '
'First of all you have me. You can become a swordsman and also you are not strong to know about him. you will know once I deem you strong enough. '
